I am Armenian and i appreciate you spreading awareness for my people. God told us that Christians will be persecuted, but if we keep our faith in him we will be saved. Over 100 years ago about 2 million Armenians were massacred in their native lands of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia: There were various reasons for this genocide, one being the facr that we were Christians in the Ottoman Empire. My ancestors were survivors of this genocide. God looked over my great grandpa and grandma for a reason. He wanted them to live to continue their legacy and to create God-fearing offspring who will do the same in the future.

I remember my pastor at my church explain the idea of the Gift that is offered by God though Jesus Christ dying on the cross. He said it is like sometimes we feel as though we need to contribute to the “Gift of Salvation” to be saved. But in this mind set it is as if God is giving you a gift at your birthday party and you say “Thank you, but you really should not have. How much was it, let me reimburse you some money to cover some of the cost.” Then God says “No, it is freely giving to you, I love you so much that I sent my only Son to die on cross for you.” If you continue to say “No let me put something towards your kindness.” In doing so we are cheapening the Gift of Grace. I have a saying on my car license plate cover it says “Give Jesus a chance; He died for the opportunity to have a relationship with you.” Another story that comes to mind is the one about “Don’t worry about the debt.” Let’s say a man or women is in front of the judge and they are about to receive their rightful guilty sentencing for speeding tickets they have received. But then someone comes and pays their fines to the judge to legally pardon them. At this point the judge can legally release the guilty person, because their fines are paid in full. This is the same idea of Jesus paying for all our fines/sins at the Cross. The debt is paid, you have been set Free! I hope this all makes sense (I normally never leave comments). I pray that you all have a Blessed Day!

We will stumble, as long as we are in this flesh, theres always a chance that we will, and that's why we get up everytime. Stumbling doesn't mean we're not going to heaven, it only means we can't make it, and that's why Jesus did it all, that's why we need Him and need to have faith in Him, that's why having faith in Him that He is our way to heaven, not any of our works, not because we did not stumble, will be our way to heaven. Ephesians 2:8-9 "for it is by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast" And as this brother in Christ has said, Heaven is a gift, not a reward.

I recently had a very terrifying nightmare (a religious nightmare that had the devil try to get me to say horrible things but I would never say them and it still haunts my mind since it scares me so much) and since that day I’ve prayed everyday, repented all of my sins (I used to not repent and I feel awful about that), and I have watched more Christian videos. In the past, I had a bit of an anger problem and couldn’t forgive very well. Now I prayed for those that have wronged me and said I forgive and I pray for forgiveness. @barb rarick You are welcome! I wouldn't tolerate that either and my husband has very mild ASD so sometimes he doesn't "get" the social cues and people can be rude. We'd love to have you both at our church and you'd be welcomed with open arms! I'd still like to encourage you to ask God where he has for you and don't give up! At least there are pastors like this to watch on the internet so you can at least hear the Word. Love you both in the Lord and you'll be in our prayers!

5 Toxic teachings in the church today: 1. Social justice - Where the idea is that the church must help solve the worlds problems (poverty, violence, racism etc.). Sometimes uniting with non Christians do do so. 2. One sided view of Gods character - The idea that God will never judge anyone He only loves people. Joe already covered this 3. Friendship evangelism - The idea where you cant just tell someone they are lost and in danger of going to hell, you have to forge a relationship with them 1st and then over many days/months/years show them that they are lost. 4. Using worldly props to attract unsaved people to the church - The idea is that telling people the gospel directly is too offensive and not effective, so they put on a worldly fleshy show to bring people into the church and then sneak the gospel in somewhere in between all the entertainment. Joe already covered this. 5. Don't judge - The idea that Christians are not allowed to point out anyone's sin.

Is that why he upheld slavery in the bible? Pretty shallow promise of love and comfort when your "gawd" advocates that some of his creations are given permission in his own amoral screed to whip and beat others into submission. Truly what a "loving" "gawd" would do. Leviticus 25:44-46

I just got out of this season. May I just suggest talking to God? Do it as often as you wish, find a quiet time (personally I do it at night, with a lamp on, reminds me of winter and calmness but anyways).. talk it out like talking to a therapist (never gone before) and reading Job. I can’t help you, I’m so sorry. I know you hear ‘pray’ from a lot of people as advice, but I guess we’re all just as lost together. May God hug you warmly.

I started going back to church 2 weeks ago. That Sunday night I started dreaming of myself carrying a life size wooden cross along the road. I decided God literally wanted me to do that. I told my hubby I planned to do that. He was concerned, so I prayed and fasted upon it. I spoke to my Mum, I told her my plan given by God. My Mum said often dreams are symbolic like the 7 fat cows then 7 skinny cows from Genesis 41. She said God could be telling me well done you have picked up your cross. I thank God for the wisdom of my mother and the encouragement, also the valuable lesson. Lean not on your own understanding. For God has higher thoughts than we do.

Joe, I've commented in the past on this subject and I reiterate, I've not been able to find a church where I'm confident that the leadership is honest and forthright and doesn't somehow weave dangerous doctrine and heresy into the message. In the last church (Methodist) I joined the associate pastor tried to convince me that the Devil was nonexistent and evil was a cloud that randomly floated about descending on people, reigning havoc in their lives and then floating away again to do the same to someone else. This is an extremely dangerous heresy because if one were to believe in it he'd have absolutely no defense against the evil in this world. When I tried to engage this same pastor in a conversation regarding the end of the age he told me that I shouldn't worry about such things because the last days were atleast one, maybe two thousand years off and then offered to give me a book on biblical prophecy. I brought up the parable of the ten virgins and was told I might study more in earnest so as not to misinterpret schripture. This same pastor was given his own church to shepherd with a congregation of two thousand members. I was mortified. He was replaced with another like him. The head pastor was made a superintendent of the Methodist churches in this area and the head pastor was replaced by a woman who was incredibly "woke" and began a campaign to make her new church as friendly to gay people as she possibly could and in fact, installed several on the board of Directors. Needless to say, that church began hemorrhaging parishioners and I beat a hasty retreat, myself but not before being accused of being a drug user, a drunk and (of all things) a beggar. This because when I tried to make the church cognizant of what had been going on I became known as a "troublemaker". This was around the time the pandemic began, the services were conducted on line and except to call the Methodist Convention there was nothing more I could do so I began praying for them, though I have to say it hurt my feelings. The church before that was a Pentecostal church and apparently I was believed to be a heathen because I refused to speak in tongues but I was not moved to do so. Besides, Paul wrote that if done in a congressional setting and no translation was forthcoming that it was no more then vanity and in the two years I attended there I never once saw the translation made. I felt that if I faked speaking in tongues it would been a slap in the face of the Holy Spirit, perhaps a blasphemy. I was raised in a Jewish household and I considered all of a sudden breaking into Hebrew prayer as I did until I became a Christian but I felt I couldn't do that even to them. Paul said, Prophecy will cease and tongues will fail (?) and my own salvation wasn't dependent on that so I moved on. I've attended a couple of churches since the pandemic ended here in Raleigh but for the most part I've been meeting with a couple of Christian friends and praying with them and we've all been looking for a nice little home church but as yet we haven't been able to find what we've been looking for, sad to say. We are all (all three of us) subscribed to your channel and it seems like it's a help but we'd like to find something atleast close to what we're looking for and I'm sure that eventually it will happen but I'd like you and your base of people to remember us in your prayers, if so inclined. That might help. Thank you for your channel and the good it does. We will be praying for you as well! Maranatha!

I want friends that aren’t seeking me for things I can’t give.. I can’t see my son right now and he’s in the midst of a family keeping from me from him from lies and I keep forgiving them but I still sent him every day some words from the Bible and explain it the best I can but on the computer because that is the only way I can talk to him..I weep every day for him , mostly because I fear his soul and heart is being corrupted by the influences ..I pray every day that he’s listening to God.. 😞

It is a good thing that the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins. Be very troubled when you can sin without feeling bad about it. That means you have sealed yourself off from the Holy Spirit's leading. Whenever that happens, remember to move back to God!

If you feel guilty for sinning, you still have God-given morals which tells you what you are doing is wrong. And I wouldn’t really say when we sin, it’s an accident. When we sin, it is more purposeful in fulfilling a desire that is not of God’s such as fornication, adultery, blasphemy, or lying as a few examples.

I have to say, I miss the fellowship of having a “church family” and we have searched for one’s that teach the TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH and sadly, EVERY ONE we have found, is in bed with the harlot. 😢😤💔 celebrating Pagan holidays, sugar coated messages, no teaching of repentance, accept and tolerate everyone, or YOU’RE the One who is wrong. IF NOT for CERTAIN teachers on KZbin, we would only have our bibles and each other. And if these Pastors were local, I might be tempted to squat there! What I can say is TEST the spirit, even with an in person Pastor! Follow with your bible, don’t just let ANYONE speak into your mind and life and call it good.
