I like the breakdown of all this. As the saying goes, sometimes less is more. Trying to touch on the different notes in changing chords really baffled me for a long time. But over time a sense of where the chords are directing you becomes more instinctive and deeper than just the notes themselves. Content like this really consolidates that and is very helpful. I love your explanations . I have a very basic question. When you are playing especially a tenor sax, the sound is so loud, it makes it difficult to hear the accompanying chord changes . How do you solve that problem ?
