It is impresive how such a brilliant man, as a biochemist, developed one of the best series of human history, without being a specialist of the area. I am talking about the so called "World History Asimov", a series of 14 volumes. Besides being intelligent, he had a huge culture that can be seen in his incredible series, that explains greatly a lot of periods and topics. Just brilliant

One thing that blew my mind was that he had trouble with a college math course and so he switched to Biochemistry.

Asimov suffered from agoraphobia, which is why his future cities tended to be domed, if not underground.

The sole person Asimov acknowledged as more intelligent than himself was Carl Sagan!

The way his son got busted with the biggest child (rimes with scorn) collection and got 0 days in jail is a little strange ... His remark about being sexually attracted to his daughter is creepy too
