I loved THUG! It made it onto my top books of 2017 list. I've been hearing so much praise for City of Brass.

Solid video as always! Are you going to do a best of/favorite book of 2017? My favorite book of 2017 is How to behave in a crowd by Camille Bordas, also the new Expanse book is shaping up to be really good! I hope you have an awesome 2018 with lots of great books :)

Thanks for the well wishes! That's kind of you. I also hope you have a happy, book-tastic year. :) As for a favs-of-2017 video, I'm not planning on it -- especially because it'd be the third time I talked about those books (between my weekly reading updates and quarterly favorites videos).

I've heard Lost Stars is the best place to start for the Star Wars books. And I hope Last Jedi is good too!!

I should get on getting to Null States. Infomocracy was excellent but I have been a little distracted recently, the mythical TBR is constantly growing while I've been lost on Hyperion, another victim of the Shrike nailed to the tree of thorns!

Hyperion may be horrifying, but it's one of the best places to get lost in -- provided it's a story place rather than a physical place... Ha anyway, yay Hyperion!

I may have to give Lost Stars another try. My husband and I tried listening to the audiobook and it felt very YA which was not what I was expecting, but maybe I can enjoy it after another try!

Yeah it's YA and feels a lot like Illuminae (for comparison, if you've read that). And I don't think YA lends itself well to audiobook form.
