5 - Filettino (Italy) Walk Tour [Caption ITA/EN]

Filettino rises at 1,063 m a.s.l. and it is therefore the Lazio municipality with the highest altitude. The municipal area is located at the meeting point of the Simbruini and Cantari mountains, while the Ernici mountains are located further south. It is part of the Regional Natural Park of the Apennines - Monti Simbruini. In the municipal area, on the border with Trevi nel Lazio, the Aniene river is born. To the north-east at an altitude of 1602 m a.s.l. the Serra Sant'Antonio pass is located, which connects the territory with that of the neighboring Abruzzo municipality of Capistrello (AQ). Along the same road, before the pass, from a crossroads, you enter the mountainous area of Campo Staffi, a winter and summer tourist resort equipped with ski lifts and ski slopes.

Meraviglioso,stupendo, fantastico, un racconto straordinario di un paese bellissimo e culturalmente autentico. Scorci incantevoli con visione e panorami mozzafiato, un paese antico e moderno che ti lascia il gusto e il senso della vita che scorre lento e profondo.
