Hey thanks for watching! If there's anything else you'd like to see, let me know and I'll make a video about it!

I'd love to learn more about how you source your nutrients! And about the science behind it in general. Do you create them yourself? Liquid? Dry? @@GreenEase

Op! Just found your video on it now! lol@@GreenEase

Saw your comment about not having a meter to measure calcium and potassium. How often and where do you send off your water samples? What costs do you incur for that?
@GreenEase3 ай бұрын
I send off samples every 3 weeks. We use A and L Great Lakes. They charge $50 per sample

What meter do you use to measure your calcium level? And what to measure the potassium?
@GreenEase9 ай бұрын
There isn’t really a good handheld meter that I would trust to measure calcium or potassium. There are some out there, but their accuracy is debatable. We have a meter from Hannah instruments that we use to measure EC and pH. But for actual nutrient measurements we send off a water sample to a lab.

@@GreenEase Ya, I have a few EC and PH meters... I've been trying to pinpoint the cause of my tipburn when it arises. Thanks!

I should have talked more in this video about humidity. I feel like that’s a bigger player than I made it out to be. For us at least

Hey. In a home garden can ground egg shells help the soil?
@SpongeBob.Ripped Жыл бұрын
No. Even if the calcium breaks down into a fine powder, it takes many years for that calcium to actually become BIO-AVAILABLE for a plant to actually consume. BUT putting egg shells in the soil CAN harm the worms in your soil which help growth. So no, don't put egg shells in the soil

Do you guys add air into your nutrient reservoir using pumps or air stones ect?
@GreenEase Жыл бұрын
You inspired me to make this! kzbin.infofJl5DlWf788?si=GefRCCJozjnzrDRl There is a cheaper pump that costs about $400. We used to have 3 of the cheaper ones but they only lasted about 3 years.
