I actually burst into tears at one point of this video, thinking back to when your journey started on the bus, seeing the therapy trips around the world(has it really been SIX months 😱) and now you're on your way home. Having a disability, disease or illness can be so emotionally/psychologically draining never mind physically, not just for those that have it but those that love and care for them too. Your family and your journey is really showing anyone that you can BRAVE THE WORLD, regardless of your circumstances.

Thank you for this message and hehe I also burst into tears (Jess here). So amazing having others on this journey with us and also sharing the highs and lows! And it is so true that facing all those challenges can be so draining. But we do have our bad days and moments too, sometimes just hard to know how to share that other side, as also want to always dignify our boys. Something we always thinking about. So thanks for this encouragement and being with us in all this xx

You guys are amazing.....all of you. Thank you for showing all the worst as well as the best of your days in travel. There definitely needs to be more kind attendants and fellow travelers at the airport. I’m always so excited when your next video comes out. It’s an inspiration for all of us.

I love River’s little bonnets. Since Zacky doesn’t wear them, are they therapeutic? River’s control of his tongue and body, is evident and I’m so happy for him. Zack is improved in confidence and is standing taller. Xxx

when my sister and I were young we lived in Ethiopia but we're half Italian half Austria and we flew to Europe on winter and summer holidays every year to be with our family. We finally moved back to Italy when I was eight , but we flew lots before that. I have problems with my ears and it wasn't always easy for our parents for sure

Hey Zach, River, Jess and Tim, you've had a long journey. We are glad to have been on this trip with you. Thanks a lot for this. We hope that we can continue to accompany you on your travels and that you do everything you do with just as much euphoria, motivation, feeling and optimism. I once told you that I will never get on a plane. Simply because I'm scared. The only reason for doing that might be the prospect of meeting you in Australia. Maybe we'll meet in Down Under or Germany / Europe when you're on the road again. Lot‘s of love from Bonn/Germany/Europe, Jörg and Annette

Definitely always ask for assistance...when I went to Germany . They didn't have an option for not using steps. Well they did...a chair they lifted you in... It's sucked a lot as I hate being lifted and it makes me really nauseous... I thought screw it on the way back and slowly slowly climbed the stairs. - I was lucky at the time to be able to do that... Now I've learnt we'll need to check if the airport has the lift available and if they don't well move to the next airport...

Gosh what an another amazing journey! Thanks for sharing all your adventures and all the places this has taken you, certainly some spots I've added to my travel wishlist! Bet after all those flights back you won't be wanting to see another plane for a while.

Heathrow airport is the best airport in England. In 2017 me and my family moved to perth via singapore and with a 4 year old it was hard even with out any disabilities and twins.

Wow!! What a workout!! You would think there would be some professionals that would think about people in strollers not being able to climb stairs!!! What a blessing that man was to help you guys to your ride!!
@OrdinaryExtraordinary4 жыл бұрын
Hehe yes, almost every single time there were stairs we had to ask 4 times for help ;) and yes the kindness of strangers!!

I'm not sure if you are aware, but if you pre book, assisted travel they help you on and off planes, give you a lounge to wait in. Usually a porter is included in to assist with baggage too. I know it's a bit late but maybe you can use the service next time you travel.
@OrdinaryExtraordinary4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this tip Julie! I have never seen that option but usually tick the wheelchair option
@juliehowman39124 жыл бұрын
@@OrdinaryExtraordinary you book it through the airline. As a differently abled person I have found it very helpful.
