Thanks for this video. My son is 8 years old and we are getting ready to travel. Hey everyone Please research on heavy-metal/parasite detox is there is so many testimonials of kids that start to walk and talk after getting detox from these heavy metals that are found in food, water, vaccines, etc. I just started it myself

I get sensory over load issues. And I always keep a pair of noise canceling headphones. They don't actually play music anymore ( probably because I carry them so often, and they just shorted out) but they sell ones that are just headphones, with no cords. They make kid size ones too, check home depot or lowes.

Dianna Province Thanks! We’ve tried several different noise canceling headphones for Andrew but they haven’t worked out - they’re either uncomfortable and/or don’t stay ON! I just ordered yet another pair recently so hopefully this one will work out. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thank you soooooo much for your videos!!! You are my new hero!! My son is 9 years old and has a very rare deletion. After watching this video, I realize that I am such a coward. We've never been on a family vacation other than the PCH in California because we can drive to it. You have motivated me to figure it out and just try. I will definitely be subscribing to follow your tips. Once again...THANK YOU!!!
@earlybirdiesCP

lupitaramos80 you are not a coward! We all have to do what we have to. Traveling with our special kiddos is not an easy feat (as this video demonstrates). FYI, we took Andrew on a trip when he was two years old and it was a DISASTER. After that, we decided to leave him at home; otherwise, as a family, none of us would be able to enjoy vacations - Andrew included. It was heartbreaking but we had to do what we had to do. Five years later, he's medically stable and our family is in a much better place as a result. That's one reason I happily made this video; I remember the years when travel with Andrew was not possible. Thank you for the kind words! Best wishes and happy traveling to you and your son!

I was born with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. I have a twin brother, i was born first. My brother was born with no problems. I take phenytoin for my epilepsy, as a child I was on phenabarbatone, then at 14 i was put on Epilim 500mg. Which caused me to gain lots of weight. I went to live in Canada for a few years where I was taken off eperlim & switched to phenytoin. Which I still take today. As a child I had grand mal seizures, which doctors said I would grow out of. Which I did, but I now have petit mal. It' feels weird when I have it, i can hear all thats going on around me, but ppl and any noise, sound much louder, plus it feels like I'm floating on water. Before the seizure I get the smell like burnt toast. I can have a seizure at any time, night or day. Unpredictable. I feel a little confused when I come round, which lasts for a couple of minutes, then I'm back with you again. Usually a cup of tea helps me recover. I read a lot of blogs where people who shared their testimonies kept mentioning Anti-seizure Herbal medication. I searched for a website I just followed the email address of Doctor Patrick that was shared on these testimonies; I got lucky when I got a reply from Dr. Patrick. I followed his instruction, used Herbal Medicine in less than 2 months, I was already cure because of the changes I was seeing. Within a period of 5 months, I was cured totally forever. I went back to my neurologist, I was checked up and marked epilepsy free. If you need his help you can Contact this herbal doctor via his email herbalmedicalhome@gmail.com and WhatsApp connection is +2348102558553 for help...I was born with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Christina H Hi! We have never done Disney with Andrew (he can’t actually go on that many rides and it is definitely sensory overload for him). I have read, however, that you can use the First Aid stations at each park - it offers cots, curtains, privacy, air conditioning, etc. So definitely look into the locations of the First aid stations as well as the Companion/Family bathrooms. Have a wonderful trip!

Hey Christina.. Just reading your comment now.. we have done Disneyland the last 8 yrs with my son on the Autism spectrum. I have used a cane for each trip. then last year we used a wheelchair for my husband. my son takes Sunglasses, ear buds a hat and a hoodie.. all to help with sensory over load. We used to take our own food into the parks with us, but as he has gotten used to the food and can trust it, we tend to eat our evening meal there.. you can get a pass from City Hall. its called the Disability Assistance System. or DAS for short.. this pass will allow you to wait outside the stand by lines. and then enter through either an exit in the older Disneyland or Fastpass lanes at California Adventure land. this pass people are under the impression that its a front of the line pass.. its not.. it gives you are return time , you can go somewhere else.. go eat or rest . or on another ride. and then when its your window of time you will head to the entrance line.. if your son is using a stroller you will have to take him out of the stroller and park it,, unless you ask for a stroller / wheelchair tag.. this is important. as they WONT allow you to use the stroller in the line unless you have this tag, you will also get this at City Hall. Most often people who use a wheelchair will have access to the regular lines at Cal Adventure land.. and some parts of Disneyland.. as a wheelchair user you may be able to get the DAS if there are other considerations with your child. when you ask at City Hall for the pass, the cast member will ask how waiting outside the standby line is a benefit to your child.. Most of the Toilet blocks have good change areas for smaller kids.. and the baby changing and first aid areas have spots where you can rest and regroup.. if you go off season.. Jan, feb. and in Sept just after schools have gone back.. its a low season and crowds tend to be less.. although the weekends no matter what are busy due to locals visiting .. go To Disneys website and look up their disability policies.. and rides that need you to transfer and rides you can stay in your chair.. if you go I hope you have a fun time.. one thing that made us enjoy ourselves was to go for 5 days,, go back to hotel middle of the day,, and rest.. play in pool . veg in front of the TV and then later in the day go back to the parks for more fun..
