I tried Nishane Nefs in a boutique in Positano Italy in September and didn't love it and even less considering the price. On that same note, and on that same trip I smelled Ideal Extreme at the duty free in Rome and it is still on my "to buy" list.

Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼 You can of course wear whatever you want whenever you want but some fragrances are a lot better for fall and winter because they can be cloying in summer for example! My favorite catergory are fall / winter fragrances because they’re more heavy. Sweet, spicy, gourmandish, woody, boozy are my favorite scent profiles

@Eau.de.Jarino that's a really good point. I do have some samples of fragrance that are sweet, boozy, with a touch of tobacco and I didn't like them in summer but I love them now in the cold weather

I've had the Guerlain Ideal line on my to-buy list for a while now, just not sure which one to go for first. At least I've got a few months to sample and make up my mind before it gets cold enough to wear them anyway. I've seen someone compare Ideal Extreme to 1 Million Lucky (which doesn't seem to be available in Australia anymore), are you familiar with Lucky? What are your thoughts on their similarities?

Not simillar at all to me, but lucky is very good as well. Concerning the ideal line all are amazing except the cool and sport flankers, edp and extreme are the crown jewels of the line.

@joaopaulostasiu1091 actually, now that I think about it, it might have been Prive and not Lucky that was compared to Ideal Extreme. I'll definitely be trying to get some samples of Ideal EDP and Extreme, they sound delicious.

A lot of so called winter fragrances smell too heavy like a scented candle and many smell very unnatural. So much syrupy sweet vanilla and nasty cinnamon and idk wtf these "leather and tobacco note" chemicals are but when they use too much it can smell really noxious. In my opinion something that just feels a little "older" like green irish tweed can work really well in the winter. Forget about sillaging the whole room to death in winter. Everyone is stuffed up and you have a jacket on, the only thing that can punch through all that is an unpleasant, overly dtrong fragrance. In winter, just worry about the girl who will actually be close enough to smell you.
