❤️ I was hoping to post a personal experience (local business not listed on Nextdoor) that I think other local users would find helpful. I was hoping by using a list of hashtags with each of the zip codes this business does business in locally, Nextdoor would show my post in those areas. Do have the idea wrong?

Yes! You can post 2x a month until you're in good standing and then it's unlimited. Just have to go through the verification process first.

It may be hard to convert someone from not using the app to using the app. May have to really incentive them.

@JACE Hardwood Flooring add this one line when trying to get a Nextdoor recommendation or Google review… “my family depends on these recommendations.” Sounds simple and kinda cheesy, but I’ve found it helps personalize it a bit. You’ll even notice getting multiple recommendations from the the same household if they really identify with you.

You've given us a list of things we should do, but not a step-by-step process for HOW TO accomplish it. For instance, you tell us to ask for recommendations but many customers and new businesses simply do not know how to do it - that's why we watch these videos. What we need is step 1, step 2 etc. Additionally, the thumbnail you point to doesn't actually link to anything. When I try to click on it, nothing.

Well so I started a page for my Home Improvement business, however the geniuses at nextdoor kept advertising it as a Dental business for some reason. I've asked over and over to get that fixed. nexdoor just kept sending e-mails that they fixed the problem...while at the same time sending me e-mails to promote my "Dental business" Anyways 3 months went by and they never NEVER fixed the problem. Nextdoor is a piece of garbage app ran by flunkie losers....Sorry it is great app if you want to hear people complain about dog poop.
