I just did a live stream with OBS a hour ago!! XSplit is also good, but from my experience I recommend XSplit only for PC's with high RAM!!

H Wh The Windows 10 "Night Light" is terrible when compared with f.lux. f.lux has more options with more efficient lighting to better protect your eyes.

H Wh I've been running f.lux for years with no issues at all. But I have heard that f.lux has been known to cause issues for people with older computers.... At least you are using the built-in NIght Light, which is better than using nothing at all.

You cant compare the on/off night light switch in Windows 10 with FLux. Flux offers far more customization (effect strength, duration, ) and adapts to your location without you having to do a thing. Also, in FLux, the transition from "day" to "night light" is seamless and you hardly notice the change when at the computer. Love it, and wont de-install it anytime soon.

I was digging on the internet to find a software that allows me to record steps on teaching people how to use a work related software as windows steps recorder had failed me. Then I log into youtube subscription page and saw this, you are such a life saver!

I use sunset screen instead of f.lux which is a little bit better (but highly recommend you to use sunset screen if f.lux slows down your computer)

Screen recording requires pretty good conputers. You cant escape that

You could try iSpring. It has lower frames per second.

This maybe of some help for you, for me I have a cheap Acer PC and found simplescreenrecoder does a real good job, it's only draw back is the exporting time after editing can take longer, if uploading to KZbin but it does takes longer than OBS due to the higher quality.

Hi, audacity is a great free software for home, multi-track, demo recordings. Thanks for sharing. OBS Studio, I need to download since #MovieMaker is no longer available. Whatever happened w/ it?! Is it still around? Maybe it's still available on the new windows B.S.. I prefer Windows 7 Ultimate because I'm familiar w/ it. I think they got too carried away with the new crap. Thanks again.

Windows Movie Maker was discontinued. There are many very good alternatives. One that I used to use is "Shotcut"....... Audacity is really good. It was featured in the September edition of the "Free Software" series.

How you set it up will differ depending if you live stream or not.

Set it to record preferably. Watching other vids to configure it correctly, thanks either way for the heads up!! Great videos btw, content, is great but if you don't mind, try to change your voice pace every once in a while, tends to sound rather slow.
