04:10 i strongly disagree on flyes not having formidable aim. They have compound eyes which give them almost 360° view and slowmovision. They should have 98% accuracy at least.

Yea that's kinda what I was thinking but still makes sense from a difficulty balance standpoint. Flies are usually the 2nd enemy type you encounter in the game and should be less difficult. But I totally agree from a biological perspective, just think how accurate those spitting snakes are with their venom irl. And as you pointed out, flies have like, ALL the eyes. Let's hope they never evolve to spit poison for real! Lol

One of MOST favorite mods is "Bloatflies shoot rockets" ..... it adds a LOT of impetus to kill them. Explosions going off all around you is a real blast. Seriously, it is crazy when they succeed in sneaking up on you and they announce their presence with rocket blasts!!! My other one is the rocket pack. I love the fighting options it provides and I'm starting to get where I can fire rockets while in flight and hit my target.

I tried the first mod.. the problem with it, it messes with all the A.I not just the cities but hostile NPC's too. And when I install this with a fresh play through I couldn't get dog meat as my companion. When I unstalled the mod I was able to get him as a follower.

I'm getting experienced with modding. That's a cool idea, and if i've got time, i will try that. You need to add magazines as a new item to the game. The weapons (from a programming perspective) need to be loaded with magazines instead of rounds. If a magazine is equipped to a gun, then the magazine will be destroyed but instantly copied with one round less in it (that's how cantines of the commonwealth handles bottles which have 6 units of water in them). If you equip the magazine in the pip-boy, a message box will appear. That should allow you to destroy rounds that will appear in the magazine. At least that's how i would do it. It would be a pain to make leveled lists for each enemy type (and maybe it wouldn't work anyway with NPCs), so maybe it could be a player-only thing or a feature for modded weapons that only the player can get anyway. But that's really complex, compared to what i've done (changing default outfits, overwriting combat ai, making children killable, make every npc level alongside the player etc).

Is anyone doing any work on mutations? Or any other content that is in FO76? There's no way so much stuff would die off or disappear in 160 years. How about records being found that describe Foundation and Crater? Or NPC chatter in FO4 about someone's ancestors being from W.V. So many possibilities.

when i play survival mode especially with mods like horizon, the things that kill me most often are the flying insects and the monsters that come out of the ground.. ie scorpions & molerats... and ghouls.. cos they run fast & unpredictable for shooting & often in big groups... things that move fast and hard to hit are far more dangerous than slow bullet sponges like deathclaws & behemoths etc

@@imie-nazwisko yeah i get killed mostly by flying insects, scorpions & ghouls whilst on horizon.. although worst are the dark supermutants that go invisible but i think thats from supermutant redux... and those snake dogs i forget their name.. invisible enemies are a nightmare whilst on 4x damage hardest difficulty horizon mod.. but kinda fun.. on this difficulty you actually have to run away more.. decide whether to conserve ammo.. you might think... mirelurks? fk that.. im gonna use up too much ammo.. and just avoid the fight.. i think the world is more fun and realistic if some enemies you just cant beat and you have to run away or avoid....

Chugged too much Nuka Cola?? Shablam, now you're Sheffield. Alcohol??? YOU'RE FKING ALCOHOLIC. And those insects debuffs as well. Getting hit just once or twice by a bloatfly and and I'm dead sure I will be filled with parasites. I wish I have that virility irl.

I've had an odd relationship with Fallout 4, different from any other game I've played. Played on release day for maybe 2 hours and shut it off for years. Then I started watching this channel and other mod reviewers and now I play it nearly daily. Vanilla FO4 is like this incredible fertile canvas for a perfect Fallout experience, but on it's own I couldn't get past two hours of gameplay. Modded just right? Hundreds of hours, play it all the time.

I was hoping there would be more enemy death physics mods, like if I shoot some raider junky he would survive, but fall to the ground, bleed on the floor, light a ciggy, and pass out, or if I blast some gunner he would call out to his friends and scream for his live until he bled from his woods. But what really makes blasting some smuck fun is, not really the pool of blood part but the bullets ionizing the gasses and liquids of the body, so smoke would linger for hours on end from which wounds the bullets reside in. What would be crazy and a stretch is shooting someone's grenade on their belt, but it would go off as if it was struck not remotely detonated, like a flame jet, burning the allies around them.

Finally, a mod that stops NPCs from being snipers no matter their level - very nice. I would say that being a stealth/ sniper build would be a must vs the MAIM mod. But, dayum the mutant menagerie mod, just wow. The one thing that annoyed me the most about modding FO4 was the amount of mods reliant upon other mods to be functional, which made the mod list bloated. I agree, it would be nice if you could just choose weapons that you like for the game and not have to include several mods to have one mod. Escape from Boston - Heckler and Koch G36 mod. I would use if I ever decide to play FO4 again. Have you ever done a mod compatibility must-have video for FO4? What's the latest on building mods?

I really wish we got some more WW2 and Cold War Era weapon packs. I prefer them over modern because of the 50's aesthetic fallout has. I mainly want things like the china lake, but I don't want a 30 or 60 round M16A1. Sort of a mix between them so that the WW2 weapons are good and not outshined by the much better Cold War weaponry.

Hi. Depends on what you play, console or PC. But you could definitely look online, google instillation for your drug of choice. I’d watch KZbin videos for ‘must have mods’ etc

Watch a video on how to use Mod Organizer 2 and then find a short mod list to get some basics. When installing mods, read the Requirements and at least 1 page of comments on the Nexus before deciding to download it. That should help you keep the game stable. I used MO2 for the first time a few weeks ago and now have 230 mods installed and FO4 plays at about 90 fps in 4K with no crashes.

Fallout 4 is so underrated. The fun that I have in fallout 4 is almost impossible in that boring skyrim where you fulltime swing just a sword. I restarted play it weeks ago modding it in a more spooky theme for fun, at begin were using polluted climated and senescence but werent enought scaring for me. After a while becomed less spooky so I changed to prc enb + nac legacy. Love this 2 combo, at night is really dark and spooky and with ghoul horde is so good. The only problem is I have a minor issue with this nac and enb where sometimes when building settlements depend how I rotate the camera the background turn for one second black then return normal and it doesnt seem to shift from day to night smooth. On top of that the nuclear weather when happened the effect on the horizon were diagonal. It is only me to have that problem with this 2 mods?
