The 'Swordfish' promo was professional and classy without being too slick. What was missing in my humble opinion is a sexy female voice over saying something that's in French and breathy....and spoken so quickly that you can't actually hear what's being said....you know 'Geeeeevaaaancheeeee' like that.

Because I'm pretty close minded when it comes to the appropriate occasion to wear my fragrance, I prefer them to have a singular-dimensional task-oriented names like "Breakfast" or "Opera" or "Teethbrushing" or "Office"... So I was a little confused, obviously, with Swordfish... until I saw the promo video. Now I know I can wear this doing mediocre hand stands in the deep end. Looking forward to the Kickstarter.

I love pour un homme de Caron. Such a pleasant and timeless scent. There is a stronger version of pour un homme de Caron which is pour un homme parfum. Same scent but with a more concentrated combo lavender/vanilla. To get it, I have to order it on line from Caron or go the Parisian Caron boutique. So pretty hard to find but worth it.

One of the first EDPs I wore was 'Phileas' by Nina Ricci. Sadly this was available for only a short time but 'Yatagan' by Caron is similar. I also enjoy Caron's 'Pour un Homme' and Creed's 'Green Irish Tweed'.

When you urge us all to project you are not kidding. You take the trouble to project your voice and articulate your words clearly. I have looked at some other frag reviewers whose diction is little more than a mumble. Thanks, It's a pleasure to understand every word. My buddy and I are gonna order the Citron Del Mar tomorrow based on your review. It's finally in stock and on sale for 15% off. We are in South America so will have the Citron shipped over land to Miami and forwarded by a shipper. Flying it in the States is prohibited but no problem sending it by air to down here.

Perhaps an honorable mention for Tom ford beau du jour. although it’s been discontinued it’s truly remarkable and fits this video perfectly. It’s still available at discounters I got mine and I’m so happy it’s in the collection before it goes the way of the Dodo

Great show. Looking forward to Swordfish review. Gotta try the Caron (compare to my T Ford Beau de Jour sample), Etat Libre d’Orange. Floris 89 sample really growing on me - I'd wear for the Churchill, Ian Fleming connections. Glad to see the 1725, Fiero emphasis. Smelly highlighted Armani Eau Pour Homme, Creed Royal Mayfair (Alexandria Bespoke) are my fav old-schools these days (with still liking Duas Bois du Portugal more and more disclaimer.) Cheers.

Swordfish - a predatory animal with a BIG ...er sword ... just like Mr Smelly! Are you sure Mr Bullovic isn't really Smurfygirl's alter ego? Poor Smurfygirl was fishing for this might fighter, but alas, he slipped off the hook after flashing his glistening sword . PS: I enjoyed the picks as well!

Months ago I received a free sample of Zaharoff's Signature. Great fragrance. Have you ever tried it? If so, your thoughts. Seems like it would fit this list of gentlemanly and also a barbershop style fragrance.

Man,i don't think there are more than four notes in Caron ph:lavander,vanille,amber and musk,that's all,other descriptions are misleading.One of the most alluring classics for me,no overbearing zestyness in this at all and that's the uniqueness!

How about a video on challenging frangrances that need time and experience to appreciate? I've bought so many on your recommendation and love almost all of them but there are a few I needed time to appreciate...Lalique Pour Homme is one I'm starting to love but was meh at first. Habit Rouge is another. Houbigant Cologne Intense...I'm still struggling with it.
