Great video, Dior is my top choice in my collection, i love Givenchy and i have the original Opium for men, a true classic. Valentino uomo is another attention getter.

the main reason why i love this channel is because of sir stewart's honesty on his experience with the fragrance's actual performance. no bs hyping unlike others who always hyping fragrances saying its a beast, et al. i mean c'mon. adg profondo included in their lists of super long lasting freshies?! i have nothing against profondo, the hell i love that scent but to say its a beast mode on longevity is bs. i commend you sir for your honesty & pls continue to give us unfiltered & transparent reviews. cheers!!

I have to agree with you on your age group, I'm 45, and I love your videos. I just picked up a 5 ml of a few Givenchy lineups. I bought the original from 1974 a few months ago and was fully impressed. Gentleman Only EDT, Boisee, Society EDP, Reserve Privee, and Gentleman EDP. So far I've tried Gentleman Only EDT, love the barber shop vibe. So clean, refreshing and office friendly. Reminds me of Maison Margiela At The Barber's.

Yeah it's weird, but that Gentleman Only edt is hugely underrated. I traded a Fragrance I didn't like for it & wasn't expecting much back but it turned into my number one summer Fragrance this year. Right after I got it, Ash from Gents Scents had it on his underrated Fragrance list. I really appreciate you watching and the kind words.

4:28 fyi,coffee comes from the peaberry bush.when green they are peaberries and they don't become coffee beans until after washing and being dried in the sun where it separates into its two separate beans.

At 73, I have been wearing Paul Sebastian Cologne since about 1985 and still to this day, I will still be asked by women as I walk thru stores,”Sir, what is that cologne you’re wearing?” And I then tell them….with their come back usually of “ thank you, I have to get that for my husband, boyfriend, fiance’…”…. @@ScentsofStyle99 make sure you get the cologne and not the aftershave…I always get the 8 oz. Bottle,it saves you $$… got two at the same time,and it lasts forever…scent stays on you just enough so as to not be offensive to the people smelling it…you will really like it, I;m sure!👍👌

I didn’t see any citrus/vevetier scents. I love Number 6 from CM and 4711. Light and bright. And while they are more barbershop type, the Royall scents are great for us older guys.

Remember when it came out, the perfume, the intense that you have,the EDT, even the cologne, were radiating Iris. One day , they change the perfume, EDT,the cologne to something that cracked my nose, a "modern" version. Horrible. I wrote them a letter, expressing my deception, and I was not the only one, because they kept the intense and EDT branded Original with Iris centered scent. They even sell the Perfume,but only on the Dior website, 150€, but it's worth it. I am very passionate about what fragrance I wear, so Dior, part of LVMH, has the perverted pleasure of changing classics once in a blue moon... Fahrenheit, the one I weared as a teenager, changed. Eau sauvage, a classic, loved the extreme version, nothing to do with the original....I think you understand me, they just centered around Sauvage, I love the elixir, but not any other. That bottle of Opium you have there is definitely a newer bottle, I still have 3 from 1996! I haven't finished my first one yet and the juice is so much darker, I still have 2 more BNIB because 2 of my sisters heard that I liked it and both bought it for my birthday. The original is definitely more complex than the current formulation, wish I could give you a decant to demonstrate....

I have a few vintage bottles - Givenchy Gentleman 1974, CK Obsession, Drakkar Noir & the performance differences between those & what they sell today are massive. The vintage bottles are so much better & no doubt That's the case with Opium. But the new bottle of Opium is so much better than the newer bottles of the other Fragrances I mentioned, thank God.

Vanilla, over a certain level, does a strange thing to my nose. It overwhelms it with a gross sickly sweetness. It's all I can smell. Everything else in the fragrance is wiped out. My sinuses get irritated; they almost burn. Dior Homme intense did it to me. So did one of the Givenchy Gentleman range. Anyone else get that? Is it common?

Oh Colonia is a classic and belongs on the list, but I keep most of my lists to 8 Fragrances and on the day I published, I happened to go with 8 others. No slight against Colonia's classic musky citrus vibe.
