I like the white, but it's trickier. The white base likes to sneak up and poke through the black. And it is not as forgiving as the the black background.

I think it’s lovely and it does have some contrast to it. I was wondering if you use satin enamels for the base only or interspersed with other colors. If it’s not necessary to use as a base, then I’ll not waste it.

No satin enamel in the base.

I like the black better, but this is really cool too! What is the white stuff that makes your cloudy mixture? Satin enamel?

I do use some deco art white satin enamel in the mix.

And I wanted to say that I always spray the back of my canvas b4 I pour just in CASE this would happen because it HAS to me before as well. You never know with store bought prestretched & primed but u most certainly made the best of it! :) I love the black one as well! ty for sharing!! May I ask what you are adding into the white that your putting on top of the black? Satin enamel? I tried to see if you had it in your description and couldn't find it. I was just curious!
