Ok.. well im not paying money to tell you..read it here or don't.. but this is the only post of this trip home. It was 7 or 8 miles between omak and riverside towns.. both are small towns with riverside being the smaller of the two with only about 800 live in riverside but about 3000 live in omak.. anyways its around midnight and your ride home got busted doing something and lost his car privileges.. so after trying everyone ether they are home asleep or gone out and not answering back then all we had was landlines and a telephone stuck to the wall everyone used.. no privileges like today were everyone has a personal cell phone.. so I start to hitchhike as I walk along the highway north to riverside. First weird thing was I didn't see one car the hole time I walked. The first scary part was all the snakes all over the road in the moonlight. After that and about 1 and a half miles left I hear a noise of something hauling 7

Sorry... Something happened and I posted a unfinished story... well heres the last part... so I hear something running that sounds like a big horse or something running on all 4 legs and is moving super fast in my direction. All I seen was a grey blur coming and it scared the crap out of me... So I raced home sprinting the last mile or so to get home as fast as possible..

Here's a fun fact about the 1984 adaptation of a Christmas Carol with George C. Scott as Scrooge one of the films directors saw a ghost melt through the walls at the Prince Rupert hotel in Shrewsbury where they filmed in Shrewsbury for the movie on location.
@cainmathewson18573 жыл бұрын
I heard that story. Eerie things can happen on the sets of movies, both horror and non-horror. It's likely the fact that they're filming in such iconic locations and cause a lot of ruckus while they're there. I mean I've heard countless stories of poltergeists attacking people because they're changing up the interior of their home so I can't imagine how ticked they must get when a whole film crew shows up for weeks or months on end.

I live in Shrewsbury. Never really noticed anything near the quarry or train station but my primary school was haunted and so was my house for a long time. I believe the ghost may have followed me home from the primary school since I had my first ghost sighting in the house soon after I started going to the primary school and occurrences stopped a couple years after leaving the primary school; plus my house is just around the corner from it. Whenever my parents would leave me alone in the house when i was younger the bathroom door would start opening and slamming by itself and the light would also turn on and off repeatedly. I have many other stories but this comment is long enough already.

The only thing I ever noticed about Shrewsbury train station was that it was *always* freezing bloody cold! I used to have to wait there for over an hour for a connecting train from Wrexham to Cardiff when I was in uni. No matter what time of year and what the weather was like, it was always bloody freezing on the platform. Of course, that's nothing to do with the paranormal!

So weird to see Shrewsbury on this channel. I moved there aged 9 and lived there for 25 years. I moved away a few years ago but still go back to see friends. I know everywhere featured in the video very well. There are so many other places in Shrewsbury that are rumoured to be haunted. I’ve had a very unsettling experience myself when living in a house dating back to the 1600’s that’s located in the town centre. If anyone wants to know that story, I’ll happily tell it.

Ok. I used to live in the medieval town of Shrewsbury. The house I lived in dated back to the 1600s. It was all pretty quiet there until this happened - One night I woke up at about 2 or 3am and turned over to put my arm around my then girlfriend and as I did I saw the figure of someone at the side of the bed standing over us on her side. It was totally black and still but it was clearly the outline of a person. As you might imagine it scared the hell out of me. I closed and rubbed my eyes, counted to 3 and looked again and it appeared to have gone. The next day I put it down to being half asleep etc and decided not to tell my girlfriend as I didn’t want to scare her, especially due to their occasionally being nights when I was out or away and she would be there alone. So the next night we went to bed and luckily I didn’t experience anything else BUT the next morning the first thing she said to me was ‘I woke up in the early hours last night and swore I saw a figure standing by the side of the bed’. ‘It was totally black but was the outline of a person’. My jaw hit the floor. I 100% didn’t say a word to her or anyone about my previous nights experience. THEN when we went down stairs there was, somewhat humorously, a yogurt from the fridge on the floor of the kitchen (by the kitchen door which was about as far away from the fridge as you could get) all crushed and leaking from its container and both of us swore it wasn’t us and it certainly hadn’t been there when we went to bed. Anyway, that’s my paranormal tale. You never think it’ll happen to you. Maybe it’s all explainable but it was pretty creepy at the time.

I also have a story, something happened when I was a kid, it's very strange, I have no explanation for it. I'm happy to share if you want. It all happened in Romania, Transylvania in the town of Alba Iulia. I was in a camp with a lot of kids and I saw something that I can't explain. Till this day, I cant be alone in a dark place by myself, in a forest or if i know there's nobody around, my mind flies to that thing I saw when I was a kid and I'm afraid to ever see it again. I felt like I was chosen by that thing and I'm afraid it will always follow me. Once you see something like that you can't escape that image.

The hotel galvez in Galveston is also said to be haunted. A woman named Audra was engaged to a sailor whose ship wrecked at sea. She became stricken with grief waiting for him to return and eventually hung herself in the hotel. Sadly however, days after she died the sailor returned. My family stayed there for a wedding and the reception was held at the hotel. While my mom and sister were getting their hair and makeup ready the bathroom and vanity lights suddenly went out. Other lights in the room and hallway were fine so I believe it could have been the ghost of Audra messing with them

Oh wow, Vilcek, that brings back memories as a young military policeman going on roving patrols with the local polizei and escorting bags of money from the market to the bank. Polizei command way more respect as law enforcement than U.S. local police. That could be a video all of its own lol. Thank you Top5's! If there was really any data about it to be found, a couple creepy stories from the U.S. would be secret rituals of the wealthy that happen at the Grey Craig in Newport, RI., specifically properties like the Van Buren Estate and ones that border the Norman Bird Sanctuary or Belcourt Castle and the Tinnie family. Remembering quite a few castles and summer cottages were transported to Newport from Europe and re-assembled brick by brick.

I like these Too Close to Home videos quite a bit, they’re longer than the other videos typically and have some really major scary stories in them. The devil near Amberg story is interesting, particularly any story featuring Satan popping up in folklore adds to the generational fear of damnation. That pub ghost at the end is freaky, imagine having a pint and that hooded figure appears at the bar in from if you. Would you offer it a drink?

I am from Ottawa, Canada. I have been to the “Old Ottawa Jail”, as well as the “Museum of Nature”. The Museum is nowhere near Kanata, as you said. The name Canada/Kanata originated from the Huron and Iroquois tribes. The assassinated politician was D’Arcy (pronounced as Darcy) McGee and was one of our “Fathers of Confederation”. Native-Americans are from America, while Native-Canadians are from Canada. I have no idea why you would think that Native-Americans are in our Canadian Museum of Nature. This kind of misinformation happens all the time on this channel. 🇨🇦

This has to be a coolest thing. My story is #2. I have been to both places and in high school, it was one of the things that we were forced to do. To go to the old cemetery in the day as a tour. Living j Galveston as a teen we would go out at night to it. If you go at night, you can hear children crying just faintly like if you're in a house with a baby crying on one end and you're at the other, you can faintly hear that through the walls, that's what it sounds like, and it doesn't matter where you are in the cemetery, it sounds far, but it's still there, there are also a lot of shadows that like to play behind headstones. They had to stop doing night tours in the cemetery because multiple people have collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest, basically having heart attacks, and it was always said to be in the same area as where the children were buried. I never saw that happen myself but I have heard the crying and it makes your blood run cold. The villa I have been too as well but do not recall ever hearing the piano. I also had no idea there was that much done at Ashton or how significant it was to the civil war.

A while back you guys posted a story about an alien abduction but I can't seem to find the video. Any help? All I remember are fragments of details: - A girl is visited by aliens at night, and they walk her through her closet. Through here, she suddenly appears at her friend's house, as if having traveled through a portal. The aliens make her change clothing, and try to force her to change her friend's clothing. - The next morning at school, the friend tells the girl that she had a dream she was in her room, and asked her to change clothing, or found a piece or her clothing in her room. - I think this is an older case, perhaps in the 60s or 70s, but I could be wrong on the particular time period. I also remember KZbin channels like Top5s and BeyondCreepy covered it but now I can't even find the video where they talk about it. So it's tripping me out, haha. Would you guys happen to know the case I'm referring to? It's really bugging me. Any advice helps. Thanks!
