The key to what Brian presents is the word 'genuine'. You have to be really interested in others and when you are tell them what you like about them. We (especially in Holland) are very good in criticizing others. It is harder to share our genuine compliments and we are also not doing a good job while receiving compliments: oh it was nothing, oh it's just my job, oh no thanks.

Mr. Brian Tracy, thank you for all of your worldly advice. It hits the nail right on the head in a very stylish manner. I am in an undesirable position though.I have naturally used these applications, complementing and admiring my 19-year-young Daughter inwardly and verbally. She does not take me very seriously, yet I'm as serious as the sun does shine. I have a very painful relationship with her biological father and uses competition with everything. He implies to her that he has all the answers and to disregard my attempts to build her up. I am afraid because of his tough guy demeanor and hard to get attitude that she will miss out on deep human interaction. He always trumps me what am I doing wrong?

I get this. It works like a charm. It's what I do naturally and the results are always positive. For me, it isn't a technique, it's just a natural "cause & effect" reality. Thanks Brian

Precisely; the complete reciprocal. Self-confidence because others like you, huh?
@ultrakevuel4557 жыл бұрын
True self-confidence or confidence, for that matter, is by nature independent of external perception. To be confident means to be assured. To be assured means to stabilized internally, which is not possible if one is reliant upon how others conceive them.

Mr Brian how to overcome a fear to visit a potential prospect?
@JerickTheKoa10 жыл бұрын
Sorry Brian I love And have researched most of your work, but I don't agree with this video. The bottom line is that you don't have to be fake. If people don't like my personality the way it is than I will not live my life as a impersonator. I understand this will most likely put people ahead of me in my field later on but I'm willing to accept that because like you said, there's no softer pillow then a clear conscience.
@JerickTheKoa10 жыл бұрын
Jac Visser I understand the charming part your refering to. I agree it is better to be more charming to others agreed. You misunderstand some of my comment. When I use the term fake I'm not refering to everyone. I'm stating that my morales and conscience make me a blunt honest straight forward man. So to be dishonest or to "beat around the bush" to be nicer to others would be against who I am as a person. People should always be straight forward with one another in my opinion. Simply I believe there's a line between "sucking up" and being nice. I believe that line has been crossed in this video .
@LeoSkyro10 жыл бұрын
JerickTheKoa I think it's up to you to cross (or not) this line, learning to be nicer with people doesnt necessarily mean to be fake. If you wanna be a likeable person, people need to be happy to be with you

leo sky I know what you mean. I'm more interested in hearing from outspoken people who have an opinion and a spicy personality. I'm made happy by sharp wit, candor, teasing & banter, lively stories, and getting me to think differently about things. People like Neil deGrasse Tyson, for example, or Jerry Seinfeld. Maybe it's the New Yorker in me, but i get bored with those who just smile & compliment me like a doorman.
