For me I don’t consider $40 bourbons “budget friendly”. I think what some call budget bourbons have been creeping up the price list. I’d consider $30 and under as budget friendly. I’ve always liked the Evan Williams white as the standard but lately I’ve really been enjoying the Rebel 100 bourbon. The rye not so much.

1783 replaced my EW White label 2 weeks ago. That has got to be the best buy in the bourbon world!

nailed it at least on the 3 i can get here in VT. EW, Michters and Bulliett. I assume the other 2 are great as well. I read that the Bulliet 10 year white label was in fact the last of the original Bulliett juice.

Those Royal Dansk Danish butter cookies are still good. My favorite non allocated bottles are Larceny Small Batch $30, Coopers Craft $30, Bulleit Rye $30, JW Dant $15, Very Old Bartons $20 and Four Roses single barrel $45.

No GR out here yet but I really like Bernheim Original Wheated, $29 aged 7 years, now I just saw they do barrell proofs like Larceny & EC. Michters US1 is the only one I've tried in their line, love it. I bought Bullet 10 ($37 on sale now it's back to $42) and really like it.

The Buillet I’ve had a keep on my shelf still thinking of getting the 1783 and Micthers haven’t had either I did taste the Micthers at a bar and it was good. And have yet to pull the trigger on Green River. I’m hoping that the rye shows up soon I’m a big rye drinker. And the wine bottle one I have never seen or heard of that brand.

I have tried the Michter's at someone's house once and liked it so picked up one. Have not opened it yet but looking forward to it. I had a bottle of the Buillett 10 and it was good and liked the RR 10 better. I have never tried both at the same time.

@@WhiskeyRow I guess I had one of the good ones. I am not saying it blew me away and I ran out to buy 3 more bottles but it was solid. I like Eagle Rare better but found I could only enjoy 1 drink of ER a night. At the end of the 2nd one I found the sweetness to be a bit much.

My Bourbon haul in 2 days this week from Total Wine and Spec's would confound most viewers. I can't stress enough for people to make connections Locally and support those Stores.......it pays off. I don't wait in lines early morning, instead, I get a phone call w/ an offer at s.r.p. and they hold bottles for 10 days for me. Don't play the game, control the game!

As someone who enjoys budget bourbon, under $35, maybe even $40 is the highest I would say is budget. You have some good selections. I would add Coopers Craft 100 and Redwood Empire Pipe Dream as great bottles under that in my area.

I recently purchased a bottle of Green River wheated based on all the reviews. Very disappointed, to be honest. It tastes too young, with a short palate and minimal flavor. For less money, I'd buy Rebel 100 or Redemption.

Just tried Red Wood Empire Emerald Giant Rye while Cold 🥶 Camping 🏕️ this weekend Maybe the sweetest ❤ un Rye Rye ever. Made sitting by the fire 🔥 pretty nice. Finished a bottle of Benchmark Top Floor too. Lots of fun.
