Very good points! Summary for future reference: 1. Kindness - they're not just "not actively negative to you" but they're actively making efforts to make your life better 2. Emotional intelligence - you share interest in each others deeper emotions beyond the surface level "There were so many red lights today" 3. Similar values - you have similar or compatible goals 4. trustworthiness and reliability - they do what they say. 5. Who do they make you? - Do they make you a better person? Look beyond initial chemistry and consider long term compatibility: desire for kids, preferences where to live, financial goals, caring for family members etc.

Absolutely love the content about relationships like this❤️🔥❤️🔥. Can you talk about crush or how to develop a foundation/a relationship for beginners (people who haven’t had much experience in romance)?

what's insane to me is that I saw all these things and spoke about the things you mentioned in the video but some how I felt lied to because once we got married I got a different version of the person. One who doesn't plan dates or puts effort into the relationship or even small act of kindness like getting something small when out because it reminds you of them. I think that hurts, I was looking for the right things and got blind sided. It was shortly after we got married that he changed and it scares me for future relationships (currently separated from him). Years down (4 years) he started lying and just doing shady things when he showed no signs of this in the dating stage. Just scary to trust even green flags when they weren't long term. Could you possible talk about how to discern long term genuine green flags?

Hi, I know this comment is late 😅, but I just want to say thank you for this helpful list. I just broke up with my ex 1.5 months ago and things are still rough. I still miss him, but he really did not have any of the qualities you mentioned 😅 I know I made the right decision, but it was a 7-8 year relationship, so it's just hard to get over. I experience self-doubt a lot lately. Feel like I'll never find someone who's compatible with me (I live in a country where men can be very toxic). I also want to change my career to become a psychologist since I know I'm gifted with empathy, but again, I'm in a country that doesn't care about psychology and psychologists get paid dirt. I'm also not from a rich family, so if I wanna pursue my study in psychology now, I'll have to work and study at the same time with my own money. I'm only 31 but feel like my life is over and hopeless. I need to rebuild everything. Feel like I'm hitting a deadend here. Just very sad. Anyway, it's good to know that psychologists in other countries get paid well. I like your videos since they give me deeper ideas about what being a psychologist actually is. I will continue watching other vids ❤
