It took me a few years to get a really good squat form down. Just jump into it as safely as you can. Start off light and always squat in a rack with the safeties on. Film yourself and see where you can improve. Ask questions from the lifters you see that have good form and see where they think you can improve. Some of the big guys might look intimidating at first, but they're usually the coolest dudes in the gym.

Would you start new client with bodyweight squats, perhaps set of sumo deadlift or leg curl, Row with dumbells, Bench press with dumbells and Overhead press with dumbells... Easier to get stronger and prepare the joints for barbell movements?

Swap out leg curls with some type of Nordic curl progression, and I would say this is a great approach for a beginner.

Here's my argument, i fucking hate squats, so if i need to do them ill hate going to the gym, and i wont go to the gym, instead of doing this.. i only do exercises that i enjoy, and this makes me love going to the gym. If something is the best but you cant stick to it then it is the worst

@suhwateezea.214 I can do more body weight squats than my wife hahaha, and I'm nearly twice her weight, I just do leg extensions and leg presses sometimes. But the main point I was making is I'm all about consistency, if I don't like what I'm doing in the gym I won't stick to it. For me it's wayyyy more important to stay in the gym lifestyle than it is to include squats.
