3:49 fun fact the shinning gundam actually has a twin sibling unit call the Rising Gundam, is basics the same as is older siblings the Shinning but it was made more for military use then being use for the Gundam Fight Tournament as it had a military grade Heat Naginata spear, a beam bow basically a arme monted bow and arrow that engery power, and a weker super mode that gave it a shield. Oh right i almond forgot the shinning gundam has a super mode that work when is pilot is extremely very angry or enters a state of pure calm and mental warrior focus. Also at 7:10 if im remember correctly the ai of the Ex-S Gundam, name Alice actually started to develop feelings for the pilot of the gundam see the guy as a partner and older brother she need to protect similar with the crew to keep the Ex-S Gundam repaired as her family, to the point she save the pilot life by have his escape craft lanch with only Alice left in the Gundam to fight and eventually self destroy the Gundam to save the guy. If im remember it correctly is be a wial sense i read Gundam Sentinel so i could have a few things wrong above this part of the fun fact.

Technically you can still pilot a Gundam Frame without having the surgery for the Alaya-Vijnana system. The Gundam Kimaris and Gundam Gusion had regular cockpits installed well after the Calamity War, so you can use them that way. Sure you won't be able to bring out the full performance of the Gundam Frame without the Alaya-Vijnana, but it's still an option if you want to enjoy using a Gundam that can tank a massive beam cannon shot and come out with barely a scratch.

At time 5:39 one of you asked why does the mobile trace system allow the user to feel pain. It is to let the pilot know what is damaged and how bad the damage is. At least that is what I think is it's purpose.

I think the reason they have you feel the damage your Gundam takes with the Trace System is because it keeps you alert of the damage your mobile suit takes in real time. If you lose an arm, it would help to have your arm feel it so you aren't trying to throw a punch with your missing left arm.

@WadeWadeReacts i think it even numbs your limbs if you lose on. I think it was when Domon faced the Dragon Gundam he took out both his arms, and the kid had his arms hanging limply, and they were glowing red. It isn't as bad as an Eva Pilot like in Neon Genesis, where they feel the full extent of the pain. It's more like a shot and sting, but you aren't gonna have your arm broken if, say your opponent smashed their knee through your arm. It's gonna hurt and go numb cause we never see Gundam Fighters sport lasting damage from their Gundams being wrecked.

I also have to wonder if part of the reason Mikazuki kept getting damage from AV-system feedback was in part BECAUSE they were working with back-engineered knockoff implant tech in the era they were in, and if he'd gotten the proper surgery, the augments would be better able to handle the datastream than the ones he had, at least until he started overclocking the damn thing as a regular thing.

They kind of show it in the first episode of IBO but the Gundams in that series IF you don't take off the limiters and IF you have safe surgery options, you can be a complete un educated child, hope in, and you'll have full operational knowledge of the Gundam and be able to pilot it at the skill level of a trained solider with the only draw back being a bit of pain when you hop in the first time. Which is scary to be honest. You go with the Heavy Arms and a skilled ace can probably out maneuver you. But when IBO started that surgery has a 50/50 chance of leaving you paralyzed and Mika was put into situations where it was remove the limiters or die which sucks. It's kind of funny though because I would like to pilot something like the Strike Freedom but really even if you had the Strike Freedom with the AI, phase shift armor doesn't do anything vs beam weapons and by the time the Strike Rouge and the Freedom came out everyone had beam weapons. + I know she's constantly getting into fights with ace pilots in better machines but Cagalli is the Stike Rouge's pilot and she is constantly getting tore apart in the series. I don't think she ever had a notable kill in the whole franchise and I feel like that would be me lol.

Personally, I would go for the Ex-S Gundam because not only is it an awesome transforming mobile suit with lots of firepower but also because ALICE would do all the job pefectly. She's one of the only few AI in Gundam that is not evil or insane, she literally support you and take over the suit if you're in trouble to protect you and she does a great job at it since she canonically shot down most of the enemies in Ryu Roots's stead in the novel because of how trashy his piloting skills were. ALICE is a good bean, you can just relax and let her mow down your enemies for you.

gundam heavyarms... i remember over a decade ago when i tried the mmo gundam SD capsule fighter online for some months (a hero shooter for gundam cept everything was in SD) and i dread facing someone bringing heavyarms custom to a match because they just literally hitstun you to oblivion with the endless spray of bullets, its only weakness as that its immobile during its firing so someone else can pick it off but the fact that it was physical bullets instead of energy wep meant it bypasses a lot of defensive features too so it can easily overwhelm an opposing team that some game rooms just banned players from bringing this unit into a match even now i still wince when i hear about it

Overall, all of these units were amazing. They did their job and purpose But if I myself could maybe put a unit it would probably be the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero mostly it’s ZERO System system that allows you to pretty much see the future in its own pacific way equally in general it just lets you see what a Unit is going to do so with that it’s already a very powerful unit alongside with the Wing Zero and it being a very powerful Gundam with its weaponry and more alongside with the system makes it even more powerful though it does have some drawbacks mostly with the fact that it will swallow you up if you do not have a very strong will in return you’re gonna be getting brain damage and more along with the system controlling you if it does not see you as a good enough pilot, but if you are good enough, and you do have a strong mental will in return you are pretty much a monster in combat with the ZERO System So I’m taking pretty much a 50/50 with this system myself Besides that in the video, I would probably go with the EX-S Gundam

I'd choose one he didn't put on this list the Gundam Abulhool from the 00 prequel, it was a prototype transformable aerial ms it looked like a variable fighter out of Macross. So in theory you could just keep it in its flight mode which is basically just a fighter plane which we have IRL, people learn to fly them all the time.
