I would have not have used Texas transfer to 4S, which is signoff, but Jacoby followed by a raise to 4S which is encouraging by responder.

Good thought proceses until last board John.

these boards were certainly something with the 3 slams in a row board 4 I got into a 7S contract but missed the diamond trick, board 3 I spent a good 3-4 mins contemplating bidding 7N off the 5N robot bid, but in the end thought better of it. Wish I didn't.

Getting four ties against Gavin ain't bad, John.

WD …. Always tough against Gavin. . #1 nice. Lots ran the first C and ended up-1. . #5 I got same defence as you, and made 10 by ruffing a small C high on table rather than drawing trumps, but only in 3H, so still lost the board. . LDDDL 15

I bid 1S on B1 first intending to raise hearts, but it rebid 1NT and after a lot of thought, I decided to play in 1NT as my hand is flat and full of queens etc.......bad choice to lose the board when the robot has opened an awful hand for a NT rebid.....grrrr. In fact I would say this round the robots bidding was borderline moronic throughout. The 5NT bid is just terrible, the 4H transfer to 4S over 2NT and then passing......is beyond awful. These bids are supposed to be picture bids, not hide a slam invitation / grand slam possibility hand.

@kartalallen #1 Have a look at Gavin’s analysis. He explains why he rejected 1S in favour of 2H

on #5 it is very diffficult to find a line that goes down.

Did you actually look at the “other” results on the board?
@johnworf4 күн бұрын
hmm not so sure about that - lho looks like it had a singleton Ace diamond even gavin commented he thought the diamonds were 5-1...but then his robots cashed the diamonds and gifted the contract.

@@johnworf once you led the clubtowards the K109x and got covered with the Q, hard to find ANY line that fails.
