WD Nice set, and nice commentary/analyses. Keep them coming :) . #1 Simple hand, but almost everyone ran the C at trick 2 to the K and ended up -1. . #5 Hoped making 10 tricks would be good enough. Lots in 3, lots making 9 or fewer. . LDDDL

Thanks Gavin. B2 I didn't open, but partner (Gavin's Lia) opened 2C, which made it easy for me to push to slam. B5 Isn't 2S the invite, while 3C said it showed five Clubs?

B1 Ducked the C at trick 2, -1 :( Thought about going up. B2 Draw B3 My partner keycarded in H then signed off in 5H after having shown a D control (???) I didn't know what was going on and bid 6H anyway. Wasn't expecting a 12 count (!!!) :( B4 Draw, partner should transfer 3H and then bid 4S, showing slam interest. B5 Draw, I think a game try is right with prime values

Board 5 - my bots played the queen of clubs and didn't play on diamonds - so I thought as you did that the diamonds were 5-1

Playing Gavin system B1 I went up with the club ace but still only managed 7 tricks B2 I didn't open and ended up in 6S - a push B3 I did the Kokish 2C>2H>3C auction and got the same 5NT pick a slam from Lia. Didn't like that at all. Thought about 6NT or 7H but settled for 6H. Really didn't like this auction B4 I wanted to super-accept the Texas Transfer by bidding 5S but thought Lia wouldn't know what to do with this so I took the plunge and rebid 6S, Lia decided she was worth a raise to 7S! Made it by finding the diamond Q - my only win B5 I only bid to 3H and only made 9 tricks, Gavin did well to bid the game.

Gavin can I ask why on board 4 u didn’t bid 4nt knowing u had a 10 card fit in spades ? If u do I think u get to 6 spades ? ( I’m from England where weak No Trumps and dinosaurs roam free so maybe your system doesn’t allow it ?)
