@@CliftonWP Hi Clifton, thanks for taking the time to reply. I have a travel website with an overall category of destinations and subcategories by country. The Similar Posts picks up all categories (so all destinations) and it looks bad when an African country post picks up European country posts as it's not how the user would search. Hello Clifton, i have to choose between Stackable, Spectra and Kadence, all in pro, to make e-commerce website (10 to make as a newbie), what would be your choice on this and why? Thanks for your content.
@CliftonWP Жыл бұрын
Thank you Arnaud. Without questions Kadence and Kadence Pro is the best choice. Here is why: Out of the Box, Kadence's WooCommerce integration is seamless. In addition that are several customizer options in Kadence build just for WooCommerce. Second, if you are getting Kadence Pro, then you will automatically have access to Kadence Shopkit which allows you to customize WooCommerce even further with over 15 additional customization options including variations swatches, custom product pages, advanced gallery styles, custom checkout and more. You also get access to Kadence Pro Starter templates which has several e-commerce starter templates you ca start with. Kadence works beautifully with WooCommerce. Go with Kadence, you'll be glad you did.

Thank you David! Yes, Kadence has a slider plugin called Kadence Slider Pro. It is included in the suite of plugins you get if you have the Full Kadence Pro Bundle. Another way to create a slideshow effect is by using the slide show background option included in the Kadence Row Block. There is also a carousel feature in the Advanced Gallery Block. Sorry off topic, but I'm at my wits end. I would like to put text over a header photo. I do not want to use the Cover Block as it does not maintain the same aspect ratio over different devices. An Advanced photo in a section will maintain the same aspect ratio over devices. In the past I have used Negative margin (on text in a row below the photo) to move the text over the photo but this is a very clunky way to do it. Do you have any insights into a better way ?
@CliftonWP2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom! You can certainly do this with a Row block or section block. If I am understanding you correctly you want to place text over an image and still maintain the photo aspect ratio in mobile correct? Do you have an example I can look at? Can you post a link?

Hi Tom! What platform did you use to design the header? If it is in Kadence Pro them builder and you built it using the Elements feature, then you can export it. However if you are using the default traditional Header within the customizer, there is no way to export that.

Thank you Clifton! Quick question, when horizontally aligning blocks, how do we make them all the same height? For instance, if we have sections for each column there is a setting in the row block to make the inner column height 100% so they are equal height. As shown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJu2dZupg7yrncU&ab_channel=AbuzidWP. However, I don't see an option to make the blocks the same height when they are aligned horizontally. Maybe I'm missing something? (I know the settings are a little different these days than they were 2 years ago, haha)
@CliftonWP9 ай бұрын
Thank you Mel! I appreciate you watching. I am working on some new videos for Kadence so stay tuned. In regards to your question, it really depends on the blocks you are using. For instance if you are using the Info Box blocks and you have different amount of content in each info block, then they will look misaligned. The only option is to ensure you have the same amount of content in each info block. My recommendation is to utilize row blocks and the sections within them to organize your content, then style the sections to make them uniform in height with the inner-column at 100% setting.
@mela98679 ай бұрын
@@CliftonWP Thank you so much for your SUPER quick reply! That makes perfect sense.
