Just an FYI to anyone wondering, to activate Launch Control, you must have the Sport Transmission package which is the only way you can get Sport +. Some ways to tell if you have it are if your gauges have red accents inside them and if the base of your shifter is leather. It also includes paddle shifters (M Sport cars do not always have them btw as the inclusion of paddles is strictly based off of the transmission option and not the trim level). I hope this helps!
@jeroentorfs1133 жыл бұрын
if you don't have the Sport trans pack, you can get it to work after coding it (for example with bimmercode), pretty easy and the trans feels much crisper in every mode
@kylesmith90482 жыл бұрын
@@jeroentorfs113 Are you talking about xhp or did you really mean bimmercode? I’ve never seen someone flash their transmission with bimmercode.

One hidden feature that I discovered was how to make the headlight washers pop up and spray clean the headlights. You just have to pull and hold the left turn signal stalk toward you and hold for a long time (like at least 6-8 seconds) and they’ll pop up and do their thing.

Bleeding the coolant system for F30 with a B58 is different due to having a mechanical water pump. 1. Seat belt on 2. Ignition on engine off 3. Set hvac temp to max and blower to lowest speed 4. Hold down accelerator pedal for 15 secs 5. Start engine, engine should automatically idle at 1200 rpm 6. When idle drops hold revs to 3500rpm for 15 secs 7. Idle for 30 secs 8. Repeat holding revs to 3500rpm for 15 secs then idle for 30 secs four more times (Total 5 including steps 6 & 7) 9. Let idle for another 10 mins then let engine cool and recheck coolant level

Great video! I've done a lot of the coding but one I recently found was turning off your license plate lights when in reverse! Camera adjusts so much better in the dark and is a huge benefit to those with Alpine White paint!
