@@AmbitionFuels Hi. I'm sorry to disillusion you, but you qre wrong on four counts. Firstly, the Gospel of Matthew was not written by an eye-witness, and the author was not the disciple Matthew. In fact it's an anonymous text. Secondly, the other gospels are anonymous too and were not written by eye-witnesses. Thirdly, the author of Matthew copied huge chunks of the Gospel of Mark, which is why some pasages are similar. Fourthly - if you think the four gospels line up then I don't think you have ever read them! Dear Presenter, I am currently doing a study on this topic and thus quite interested to hear your thoughts on the following: According to Matthew chapter 1 Jesus of Nazareth was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Further down the line his mother is a virgin which confirms this fact. This suggests that he does not have an earthly father and thus cannot be referred to as the descendant of David, even if his mother (as some people suggest) is of that line as the Hebrew culture does not permit this. An example of this is Diana who was Jacob's (Israel) daughter whose children are not referred to as Israelites. Does the book of Matthew Chapter 1 not say that "he was the son of Joseph or so people thought. In fact verse 18 clearly it was before they came together. Please help me understand. We can tackle all the other prophecies fulfilled once we get through this one.

I agree. Yes, I believe that Matthew and Luke had different purposes for their genealogies. One was tracing the linear back to Adam (Luke) which makes sense because Luke's goal was not to prove that Jesus was only related to the Jews but to all of mankind since He wrote His gospel primarily to influence the Gentiles. Matthew stopped his genealogy at Abraham if you notice. He traced it from the other parent line also.

Good question! It's because it is not talking about him. Read the whole chapter 7 and you'll see the context. This is not about the messianic age at all. It's God reassuring Ahaz who was scared that the northern tribes would defeat him. God told him that he would be fine and the sign would be this child that was about to be born. If this was talking about jesus, he was born 700 years later. What kind of a sign would that be? This is besides the fact that the word does not mean virgin at all. It means young woman like every other place in the ot. This is just another lie by the church to try to deceive you. Hi Allen, I'm back again. You spoke on the Prophecy of Jesus being a descendant of David. Well that prophecy is not really a good example to use without explaining it. You see its not hard for anyone to figure out that Jesus is not a direct descendant of David or Joseph either. At least not through blood. Jesus himself explains this to the Pharisees. And even as a child this confused me. Now that I'm a mature Christian, that prophecy is much easier to understand. But for a Baby Christian, this will be confusing. I really would like to see you do a video explaining that prophecy. It would help many of peolple. And it would help people know JESUS true identity because Jesus said I was before Abraham. May God Bless you with that one.

shure i try; the ones of the old testament, that old testament- 'people of God' Israelites and Jews, MOST of them didnt really believe in God and would not believe in the messiah even when they would meet Him in person, as it is written in the old testament..AND also that most of this tribes failed to understand, because they did not wanted. (read Jeremia) You could say that ALL Israel and Judah (the 2 houses) of all times new and old testament times did NOT believe in their own scriptures and own messiah! And even when they did to some extend, it was a false asumption, not clear, mislead, etc. (thinking that Messia would make m free of the Romans for example) Only THOSE who God OPENED their mind and eye like the prophets for example, understood more in the line of God, about the plan.. but even most prophets didnt see the whole picture! For the israelite's and jews in the new testament times who DID believe in Jesus , they would only understand AFTERWARDS, AFTER all the major events about Jesus life death heaventrip etc.. So WHEN they did understand that it was about JESUS what the old testament was ALL about! NOW they are on the way to start writing it down, but still not all, because of great distress in the country by jews and romans fighting! So, only afterwards.. they understood and even later afterwards they write down. Their was however maybe a handfull of people who understood this, (that the old testament was about the coming Jesus) but mostly they did NOT understand, yes the knew SOMEONE to come, but did NOT expect Jesus as THE Messia! so you see, because soo many things did happen to these people, they STARTED to write it down after things were a bit quit down in their lives. my 2 cts

No he didn't at his birth at all. Many of the "fulfilled" prophecies were not fulfilled at all or fulfilled only if you were looking in that context as I have done vids for my own people exactly on this topic. For instance Jeremiah predicting fall of Judah to Babylon. Well any military strategist could have said this by looking at the growing empire that Judah would not honor. The virgin prophecy of Immanuel. First Immanuel could have been anyone and second the word doesn't mean virgin in the original Hebrew script. The "suffering servant" could be a metaphor for Israel. And it may not be but it IS a possibility. Basically what apologists are doing are taking vague predictions and molding them to fit their worldview. I have yet on my own work to find a "prophecy" fulfilled. Maybe I will in the future--but not so far. Cheers, DCF

Hi Allen, I really like viewing your channel. But Some of the things you say can be a little confusing to new Christians that have little knowledge of our faith. We cannot say that God has written the Bible. Again like I said in another post of yours, that would be playing around with words. The only thing thar God has written was the 10 Commandments. The Bible makes it quite clear who the Author of each Book of the Bible was written by. Now I believe that each Book was sent from God to the Prophet. And the Prophet wrote what God inspired him to write. And remember all the books in the Bible are not books. Some are just letters and some are poetry. We can't say God wrote those parts of the Bible. And if God wrote the Bible, the Bible would be Divine. (Holy). It would be on the same level as the Ten Commandments. And with all these versions of the Bible, we know that's not true...I believe every word from the Bible and I am a true believing Christian. But we have to be careful on how we explain our religion. Especially with the way we present our words. It could confuse others and leave us open for attack...Amen?

The different versions are man made so that people could better understand. Everything that was written in the Bible is from God it doesn't matter if it's a poem a letter or what. They are all refered to as books of the Bible and are there to guide us. No book is greater than the other or the ten commandments for all have the same purpose of being there

Peace Brother and all praises to The Most High. If you read Isaiah 7:3 and go down past 7:14 you'll see that the child mentioned wasn't jc. That child was a marker for King Ahaz to know when his kingdom would fall. His kingdom fell in 716 BC, way before jc. Also, you mentioned the virgin birth. When the fallen angels were cast upon the earth, they mated with humans and created giants. The Most High said this was an abomination and flooded the earth. Why would The Most High wipe out the giants, then turn right around and do the same thing they did. That would insinuate that The Most High is a hypocrite. I know He's not. As far as Micah 5:2, you need to read down to verse 4. Micah 5:4 ¶ And the Lord shall stand, and see, and feed his flock with power, and they shall dwell in the glory of the name of the Lord their God: for now shall they be magnified to the ends of the earth. jc couldn't have fulfilled this prophecy because 1, he died and 2, The Most High Creator hasn't come back yet and done this. You also say that jc was g o d himself. Please show me in the old testament where this is written. Also, why would jc say, "Why have you forsaken me father" when he died on the cross if he was The Father? That doesn't make sense. I know why he said that but I'll stay on point. In john it says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son. If jc was The Father like you say then you're saying The Father gave his only begotten himself? That doesn't make sense either. As far as matthew 2:17-18 pointing back to Jeremiah 31:15, you need to start at Jeremiah 31:7 and finish at Jeremiah 31:17. It's talking about when the children of Israel come back to their land. The Most High tells us who he is bringing back in the end days and he mentions them by name. Jeremiah 30:9, King David and Malachiah 4:5, The Prophet Elijah. If he can mention these two, by name, why doesn't he ever say he is sending jc? What do you think of these scriptures? Deuteronomy 32:39, Behold, behold that I am [he], and there is no Creator beside me: I kill, and I will make to live: I will smite, and I will heal; and there is ((((none who shall deliver out of my hands)))). Hosea 13:4 But I am The Most High thy Creator that establishes the heaven, and creates the earth, whose hands have framed the whole host of heaven: but I shewed them not to thee that thou shouldest go after them: and I brought thee up out of the land of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, and thou shalt know no Most High Creator but me; and ((((there is no Saviour beside me)))). Isaiah 43:11, I am The Most High; and ((((beside me there is no Savior)))). Isaiah 45:21-22, If they will declare, let them draw nigh, that they may know together, who has caused these things to be heard from the beginning: then was it told you. I am The Most High, and there is not another beside me; ((((a just Creator and a Saviour; there is none but me)))). Turn ye to me, and ye shall be saved, ye that [come] from the end of the earth: I am The Most High, and there is none other. These come directly from The Most High and not me. I have more scripture where The Most High Redeemer states that He is the only savior. Peace Brother and all praises to only The Most High Creator.

Yet again, are you kidding? Do you know nothing about the nature of evidence? You even claim Isaiah's prophecy was perfectly fulfilled and then put up the text saying he name would be Emannuel, which it wasn't, was it. You have to spin something out of the meaning of the name just to get close. Sorry. You need to do a lot better that. Prophecy has to be detailed and specific enough that it can only be fulfilled by a single event. You then need reliable evidence that the conditions were met at the time specified. Most of the prophetic verses in the bible don't meet the first and none meet the second.

Jews do not accept Jesus as the messiah because: Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies. Jesus did not embody the personal qualifications of the Messiah. Biblical verses "referring" to Jesus are mistranslations. Jewish belief is based on national revelation. But first, some background: What exactly is the Messiah? The word "Messiah" is an English rendering of the Hebrew word Mashiach, which means "anointed." It usually refers to a person initiated into God's service by being anointed with oil. (Exodus 29:7, 1-Kings 1:39, 2-Kings 9:3) 1. Jesus Did Not Fulfill the Messianic Prophecies What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? One of the central themes of biblical prophecy is the promise of a future age of perfection characterized by universal peace and recognition of God. (Isaiah 2:1-4, 32:15-18, 60:15-18; Zephaniah 3:9; Hosea 2:20-22; Amos 9:13-15; Micah 4:1-4; Zechariah 8:23, 14:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34) Specifically, the Bible says he will: Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28). Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6). Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4) Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world ― on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9). If an individual fails to fulfill even one of these conditions, then he cannot be the Messiah. Because no one has ever fulfilled the Bible's description of this future King, Jews still await the coming of the Messiah. All past Messianic claimants, including Jesus of Nazareth, Bar Cochba and Shabbtai Tzvi have been rejected. Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming. Jewish sources show that the Messiah will fulfill the prophecies outright; in the Bible no concept of a second coming exists. ________________ 2) Jesus Did Not Embody the Personal Qualifications of Messiah A. Messiah as Prophet The Messiah will become the greatest prophet in history, second only to Moses. (Targum - Isaiah 11:2; Maimonides - Yad Teshuva 9:2) Prophecy can only exist in Israel when the land is inhabited by a majority of world Jewry, a situation which has not existed since 300 BCE. During the time of Ezra, when the majority of Jews remained in Babylon, prophecy ended upon the death of the last prophets ― Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. Jesus appeared on the scene approximately 350 years after prophecy had ended, and thus could not be a prophet. B. Descendent of David Many prophetic passages speak of a descendant of King David who will rule Israel during the age of perfection. (Isaiah 11:1-9; Jeremiah 23:5-6, 30:7-10, 33:14-16; Ezekiel 34:11-31, 37:21-28; Hosea 3:4-5) The Messiah must be descended on his father's side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24). According to the Christian claim that Jesus was the product of a virgin birth, he had no father ― and thus could not have possibly fulfilled the messianic requirement of being descended on his father's side from King David. (1) According to Jewish sources, the Messiah will be born of human parents and possess normal physical attributes like other people. He will not be a God-man, (2) nor will he possess supernatural qualities. C. Torah Observance The Messiah will lead the Jewish people to full Torah observance. The Torah states that all mitzvot remain binding forever, and anyone coming to change the Torah is immediately identified as a false prophet. (Deut. 13:1-4) Throughout the New Testament, Jesus contradicts the Torah and states that its commandments are no longer applicable. For example, John 9:14 records that Jesus made a paste in violation of Shabbat, which caused the Pharisees to say (verse 16), "He does not observe Shabbat!" ________________ 3) Mistranslated Verses "Referring" to Jesus Biblical verses can only be understood by studying the original Hebrew text ― which reveals many discrepancies in the Christian translation. A. Virgin Birth The Christian idea of a virgin birth is derived from the verse in Isaiah 7:14 describing an "alma" as giving birth. The word "alma" has always meant a young woman, but Christian theologians came centuries later and translated it as "virgin." This accords Jesus' birth with the first century pagan idea of mortals being impregnated by gods. B. Suffering Servant Christianity claims that Isaiah chapter 53 refers to Jesus, as the "suffering servant." In actuality, Isaiah 53 directly follows the theme of chapter 52, describing the exile and redemption of the Jewish people. The prophecies are written in the singular form because the Jews ("Israel") are regarded as one unit. Throughout Jewish scripture, Israel is repeatedly called, in the singular, the "Servant of God" (see Isaiah 43:8). In fact, Isaiah states no less than 11 times in the chapters prior to 53 that the Servant of God is Israel. When read correctly, Isaiah 53 clearly [and ironically] refers to the Jewish people being "bruised, crushed and as sheep brought to slaughter" at the hands of the nations of the world. These descriptions are used throughout Jewish scripture to graphically describe the suffering of the Jewish people (see Psalm 44). Isaiah 53 concludes that when the Jewish people are redeemed, the nations will recognize and accept responsibility for the inordinate suffering and death of the Jews. __________________ 4) Jewish Belief is Based Solely on National Revelation Throughout history, thousands of religions have been started by individuals, attempting to convince people that he or she is God's true prophet. But personal revelation is an extremely weak basis for a religion because one can never know if it is indeed true. Since others did not hear God speak to this person, they have to take his word for it. Even if the individual claiming personal revelation performs miracles, they do not prove he is a genuine prophet. All the miracles show ― assuming they are genuine ― is that he has certain powers. It has nothing to do with his claim of prophecy. Judaism, unique among all of the world's major religions, does not rely on "claims of miracles" as the basis for its religion. In fact, the Bible says that God sometimes grants the power of "miracles" to charlatans, in order to test Jewish loyalty to the Torah (Deut. 13:4). Of the thousands of religions in human history, only Judaism bases its belief on national revelation ― i.e. God speaking to the entire nation. If God is going to start a religion, it makes sense He'll tell everyone, not just one person. Maimonides states (Foundations of Torah, ch. 8): The Jews did not believe in Moses, our teacher, because of the miracles he performed. Whenever anyone's belief is based on seeing miracles, he has lingering doubts, because it is possible the miracles were performed through magic or sorcery. All of the miracles performed by Moses in the desert were because they were necessary, and not as proof of his prophecy. What then was the basis of [Jewish] belief? The Revelation at Mount Sinai, which we saw with our own eyes and heard with our own ears, not dependent on the testimony of others... as it says, "Face to face, God spoke with you..." The Torah also states: "God did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us ― who are all here alive today." (Deut. 5:3) Judaism is not miracles. It is the personal eyewitness experience of every man, woman and child, standing at Mount Sinai 3,300 years ago. For further reading: "Did God Speak at Mount Sinai?" Waiting for the Messiah The world is in desperate need of Messianic redemption. To the extent that we are aware of the problems of society, is the extent we will yearn for redemption. As the Talmud says, one of the first questions asked of a Jew on Judgment Day is: "Did you yearn for the arrival of the Messiah?" How can we hasten the coming of the Messiah? The best way is to love all humanity generously, to keep the mitzvot of the Torah (as best we can), and to encourage others to do so as well. Despite the gloom, the world does seem headed toward redemption. One apparent sign is that the Jewish people have returned to the Land of Israel and made it bloom again. Additionally, a major movement is afoot of young Jews returning to Torah tradition. The Messiah can come any day, and it all depends on our actions. God is ready when we are. For as King David says: "Redemption will come today ― if you hearken to His voice."

Why are you checking with people who rejected Jesus? But let's go through a few things. I checked all of the verses you gave regarding the prophecies Jesus did not fulfill. And you are right. He did not. They are all in the future when He comes and reigns for a thousand years. So they got that much right. SEE: 48 Prohecies fulfilled by Jesus. I just wanted to share with you that I believed these Rabbis read the Talmud. A book written by Rabbis and not God. Toward the end they quoted it! They said Jesus came after the prophets so He could not be a prophet. Jesus said John was a prophet yet better than a prophet. Luke 7:26-28. They mentioned that Jesus made paste on the shabbat. He made the paste to heal the eyes of a blind man! They are still saying it is wrong to heal on that day, still heartless. Jesus said He is Lord of the Sabbath. He said men would pull a sheep out of a hole on Sabbath, yet he cannot heal children of Abraham on that day. Also Jesus was the prophet Moses spoke of. Jesus gave prophecies about what would happen to him so his disciples would know he was the one. One time he gave a parable about a King that went away for a long time because he knew His disciples believed Jesus would reign soon. Also others including Natthew 24 and 25. The virgin birth should be young woman birth. Are they using the Masoretic texts? No. How rediculous that God should promise a young woman Immanuel. What husband could give Him to her?? They say that Isaiah 54 is Israel because it is called suffering servant. But it actually starts in Isaiah 52:13. Verse 14.says: As many were astonied at thee:his visage was so marred more than any man and his form more than the sons of men: That verse alone leaves them out. They were not able to save themselves le,t alone fulfilling any of Isaiah 53. Read it. Very touching verses. Then they mentioned God did not make this covenant with our fathers etc. Moses was giving them the law. Jesus fulfilled the law.

I think the statement that the scripture was written by God and not man, is misleading. All scripture was inspired by God but was written by man and reflects the personality of the ones who penned It. The bible being the word of God is also incorrect. Jesus Christ is the Word of God, seen very clearly in scripture, which never refers to itself as the word of God. Seemingly nit picking points but very important in the overall scheme of things.

As in (he,Is) and God would say Jehovah as in ( I AM) and so… they mean the same… and the combination of the two would be said as Yahovoa. God lives here.
