You know, a whole game built around this concept sounds pretty neet especially if you add the ability to create and customize your own fighters. It'd be like Little Big Planet, Soulcalibur, and Super Smash Bros fused into one.

This is real decent quality i gotta admit. It’s a unique quality using the stage builder for almost the entire vid & little else. Even for the intro & such. You wouldn’t expect that from some one like you. You deserve much more attention. Let me guess, this is the one vid on the channel that blew up? Edit: nope, it’s ur 2nd one. Of course Zelda’s ahead of this

Ladders can be used to disable rotation on gravity-affected platforms. I think springs might work for that too.
@Joshboyman5 жыл бұрын
Nice video! I also noticed another trick in the stage builder : you can prevent falling tiles from rotating by putting ladders on/in them. It's useful when you want tiles to fall in a straight vertical line.

You can make working water by placing an upwards-facing wind area behind a piece of blue terrain. Your character will float on the “water” as if they were swimming. They can also “sink” by moving down. They can’t drown, but if they use all their jumps they may get stuck on the water and be forced to sink.

You don't need to use a bomb block to have separate terrains spinning together. You can put Gears outside terrains. But since you can't put two gears in the same spot, you need to move the terrains a bit, put the gears in the correct positions, then move them back. This makes you use one gear for each terrain section.

There's a stage I found online with vertical walls which are literally only one pixel wide all the way and I have no idea how he made that... The crazy thing about these walls is that characters can walk and jump through them without any collision, but falling objects etc can't pass through them.

@@Thoreon You know? The first one: you can make stages with backgrounds stay higher than the actual chosen background for example battlefield. For that you must have to create a small rain upward and deactivates the option of return movement. Like for example in my stage: NM9RYQ27 The second one: you can make empty circles using a glitch like in my stage of galactic nova for example: M1F0HK2W For that you must have to waste all you space making tiny circles. Make sure to not let the bar stay red and continious making circle until you get the empty one.
