As a nursing student, the only math in nursing is medication dosage which is just basic addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.

Highly agree with Management Information Systems. Some universities may have a different naming to this degree, like Computer Information Systems, or simply Information Systems, but nonetheless the degree gives you all the necessary technology skills and business skills you need for the tech industry without going too in depth, like with Computer Science and Business degrees. I got internships in both software engineering and data analytics. There is so many directions you can take this degree in.

@@Riku9361 I would say Computer Science can better prepare you for coding heavy jobs, since you will obviously take data structures, algorithms, high level mathematics and etc. And with MIS, you will take the core CS classes like programming, database, web development, and networking. But the deeper computer and math classes that is required for CS like algorithms or discrete mathematics, will be replaced with business classes. But don’t forget, you always have electives, and you can choose higher level CS classes as your electives. At the end of the day, your skillset and knowledge matters, and both degrees will prepare you well

@@Riku9361 you can’t go wrong with either one. You can still be a software developer or data analyst with a MIS degree. CS is more in depth of the computer things, but MIS you are pretty much a jack of all trades in computer, IT, and business classes
