Thanks for this. At 68, I've discovered that many men will do better if they understand it's wanted from them. My late husband paid me the biggest compliment I've ever had: "You make me want to be a better man." Hearing that made ME want to do better. God I miss him.
@barbaraf.46423 жыл бұрын
How many women fail at those so called high value rules and still get the man anyway, why ? BECAUSE WHEN A MAN WANTS YOU , HE WANTS YOU PERIOD, nothing to do with sex, being too nice or too needy or anything else... Those types of behaviours a man will do only when he's not into you (ghosting, pulling back, not responding, breadscruming, not caring etc. ) A MAN WHO REALLY WANTS YOU WILL NEVER PUT HIMSELF IN A POSITION TO LOOSE YOU.
@Beautytrends773 жыл бұрын
I totally agree!! When a man wants you there is no stopping him. Men go after what they want, it’s just that simple. Anytime I was in a relationship the man knew right away wether he wanted to date me, have sex with me or be in a relationship with me. Unfortunately men always dictate which way the relationship will go but ultimately it is up to a woman to accept what he is offering. Any man that wanted to be in a relationship with me always stayed consistent and I didn’t have to sit and wonder what he wanted and guess what I want a high value man!

Bang on. Women spend millions of hrs & dollars on MEN (videos, counseling, exercise, clothes, makeup etc). Men don't do sh÷t...drink beer, lie, just want sex, play games. If a man wants you it's simple and you know it. We need to stop wasting time on them. Not one has ever been good to me & I have boundaries, kindness, you name it. On a lighter note getting an Irish man to read the Four Agreement at that rate I won't have any fun until I'm pension age. I’m very proud of you as one human to another, that you lost your son a couple of years ago and you were able to go through that grieving process and come through it and retain your own light and joy. You have remained present within your own life today instead of living in the past. That is really amazing to me. I’ve said that to you before about your son,. Being that you only lost him a couple of years ago that’s very accelerated work you did on your healing process. You really pushed through and shortened that duration that could’ve dragged on for years in despair. I would feel that way about anyone who has buried their child and overcome that to still emote the positive energy that you do. Hugs for that!!

Not all of us believe that men are knights in shining armor, who initiate, take charge, and save women. The irksome part is that you want us to understand men and give them grace for their failings in a way that men do not give grace to women for similar issues. I wasn’t aware of this until men literally told me that they weren’t willing to date/ deal with somebody who’s been hurt/ damaged. Men want you to take care of your ish but be their therapists and comfort... very shortsighted and selfish.
@JonathonAslay3 жыл бұрын
I'm a little confused, where in the video do I suggest men shouldn't give grace to women? In my video I repeat several times... this goes both ways.
@jess77surfs3 жыл бұрын
@@JonathonAslay It’s by the simple fact that you have not articulated in any of your videos what men are doing to show us the same understanding and openness, without expectation that women take the first step (It shouldn’t be an expectation that women always show vulnerability first). That might not be your intention with these videos, but thats how these videos are coming across and strong impression given. When I watched many of your videos back to back, the common theme seems to be that it’s the woman’s responsibility to make the relationship happen and to happen successfully (common phrase- lead). I hope that is not what you believe or mean. When will you address what leaps of faith are men taking? A video about identifying behaviors and actions that show effort and intent by men (without women initiating vulnerability every time), would be helpful. When you point out and give tips on what women should do it would be helpful to also point out how to ID actions men are doing to show they are putting in the work as well.. There are so many videos out there showing women all the things we need to do to keep a man in our life or to simply get a good man in our life, and most of the videos for men are about “how to get a woman” or “get what you want from women”. There’s something deeply and profoundly wrong with this trend of information and worse, people are excepting it. I do appreciate your intention and the work that you are doing here. Especially for the middle age group which is almost always ignored. I’m trying to convey my thoughts as concisely as possible. It’s a little bit of a struggle on a comment thread. I have a lot of questions and things I want to articulate, mainly because I literally watched all your videos.🤣🤦🏼♀️
@jess77surfs3 жыл бұрын
I just needed to add that I’ve gone on hundreds of videos for helping men and women with relationships. It just seems like ( the majority) women are asking a lot of questions and trying to better themselves, while most men use the comment string as a place to insult women and joke about these help videos... That shows the truth of what’s really happening in the world of dating...
@MaryJane-hr9vn3 жыл бұрын
@@jess77surfs Comments on the internet are not an accurate representation of what's going on in real life. I talk to my male friends and they have similar problems with women. What these videos seem to say is you can only take responsibility for your own behavior, and since they are for women why would he be addressing men?
@jess77surfs3 жыл бұрын
@@MaryJane-hr9vn he wouldn't be addressing men and that is not what I'm asking. I'm asking for input and feedback about men that we could understand. Examples of what they should do that we can look out for. I don't think that's asking a lot. Also, understand that what men are telling you are not what they say to each other when women aren't around.. if you assume they behave the same way around you that they do when it's just the boys, that's incorrect.

Looove Led Zeppelin!! So jealous you were there in '77. I also love David Bowie, I was so sad when he died. He seemed so brave. I've been listening to you for a while and I bought your book so I think you mean "leaning in" is doing the work necessary either with yourself or with a prospective partner. "Speaking your truth, do it with kindness. " Leaning back sounds lazy and like you're leaving everything to chance. I think people need space, but leaning back feels like running away a little bit. Especially if you're confused by someone's behavior. I think clarity is better than "leaning back." I was confused about a guy, and the main problem was his words and actions didn't match... Next!

5 high-value attitudes: 1. Your actions consistently match your words. (Integrity) 2. You take personal responsability for your choices. (You have a Victor mentality vs. Victim mentality.) You can have bad experiences with men, but look for clues in yourself, not in men. (Read Brene Brown: letting go of imperfection). 3. Fighting fair (learning good conflict resolution skills. Not being right but chosing to be happy. Listening to the other, and finding a resolution.) And the man needs to accept what you say as your truth. Kind perspective. 4. Empathy. (I care about your feelings. Don't be in a relationship with someone who doesn't value your feelings. Do not settle for them.) 5. Transparency. (Be honest with the other one, authentic, vulnerable.) Also, if you're with a man, who is not transparent with you, constantly hiding from you, then the relationship will not work out. Read : the 4 agreements book, which is about building a relationship with integrity. So you need to adopt these high value attitudes/qualities/mindset. When these embody an emotional maturity in you, that will attract a great guy to you.

A good man is worth being patient with. Maybe they have some wound they need to process. I suggest some of those frustrated women to read "Men made easy how to capture his heart forever". Consider how you approach him in attitude. Maybe it's more you than the man. I can admit that I can be impatient but at the same time, I might have to examine my own thinking and actions and consider his reception or maybe he's going through a process.

How open can you be or when can you start being transparent? Like telling secrets or desires?? I really believe it’s important to be and individual without sharing so much and to not interfere with the others individuality, but still confused of how much to tell someone before sleeping with them.

Hi! Jonathan, I knew this man for a year now, he is a very nice men I've ever meet. He is always treated me good and respect me, and he is making sure that my car is clean and safe for me to drive, he always giving me a good complement, and every time I called him to do something for me, he is there, he never say, no I can't do it. until later on I feel in love with him. I wanna tell my feelings towards him but I feel embarrass because I am a woman, and I am thinking if I tell him and he doesn't feel the same I will be so embarrassed. What should I do?

attitude is a person matters if you pay attention to them. If you do not they just may look for some like minded one. humans all are important and it not just one fault . it attitude . not copping one . you awake say hello. If you know it be bugging them you ask them the desires .You got to care how they think and feel. You feel don,t you? well they do too.
