Mistakes to Avoid: 1. You don’t want to panic. 2. Leaning forward and trying to get clarity while anxious. 3. Over apologizing or over explaining yourself. 4. Confronting him or giving him an ultimatum. 5. Faking disintrest. Things We Can Do: 1. Give yourself a timeline to not worry. 2. Take your focus off of him completely. 3. Retrain your brain to focus on what is right in front of you, not on him. 4. Build up your life outside of this man. 5. Let yourself get bored with this lack of momentum. Get turned off by what he is doing or not doing.

I’m going through the same thing right now with a guy. He was texting me every day in the beginning but now it’s a few months later and he’s gone silent. I’m getting bored with it too and I’m tired of being the one always reaching out to him. I need someone consistent and he was in the beginning but now all of a sudden he’s not anymore and it’s a total turn off. I think he’s just not ready for a relationship and didn’t have the courtesy to tell me.
@MIMIDSH Жыл бұрын
@Kaitlin Mastrantuono I didn't realize I wrote this comment 5 months ago. I wish I would have gracefully faded out of his life back then. My feelings grew, and I thought we were slowly moving forward. He officially ended it with me last night. I felt things were "off" around mid-December, but chalked it up to him getting sick, me moving, being busy with holidays. I'm pretty sure he'd met someone else just before then, and in hindsight, I realize he was creating distance with me as he let her in. Our last contact was me teasing him, thinking he was just being grumpy by sort of telling me to back off. I said I'd text him tomorrow but... I realize it's better not to contact him. It hurts and I feel foolish but obviously I see I had a clue 5 months ago with how I was feeling. If I don't contact him, I still hope he'll realize he wants me if he thinks I'm no longer chasing, but in fact, no contact is probably exactly what he'd prefer. He clobbered me with his words, and no one with a shred of self-respect would hang around. I think that was his idea. He's not a terrible person and I still love him, but it doesn't mean I need to be in his life -- or more to the point- he wants me in his.
@kaitlinmastrantuono7216 Жыл бұрын
@@MIMIDSH I’m sorry you went through all that with this guy. You’re better off without him. You don’t need somebody like that in your life. He’ll realize what he lost eventually but it’ll be too late. You’ll meet somebody else. That’s probably what’s gonna happen with the guy I was seeing. I’m not gonna sit around and wait for him.

@@kaitlinmastrantuono7216 thanks. I kinda knew I'd be ready for a new chapter once I moved, but I guess I wasn't quite ready to have it end. I thoughtnif iI did everything right- respected his space, dialed expectations down to zero, remained busy with my life, always positive and accepting- he'd trust and open up. It was always one step forward two steps back with his emotions I only focused on the one step forward. I will eventually meet someone better for me. Deep down I knew it would never be him. I just preferred not to see it.

Thank you for pointing out that it's ok to get bored with this sort of behavior. So often we want to guilt trip ourselves for losing interest in this sort of behavior and beat ourselves up for not being "understanding" or "loving" or whatever about it. So we lean in even further to prove to ourselves AND them that we are loyal, loving and totally understanding no matter how we are treated. 🙄 I know I've been guilty of this. But if you find yourself losing interest over a guy's behavior, remind yourself that that is good! It's means your standards and boundaries are strong, real and doing just what they are supposed to do! Thanks for putting this out there!

Don't dare think u lost. I was 39 n thought to myself...How in the world am I Ganna go from here? I wrote a prayer to God for the man I was looking for. Mind u... that list was nearly impossible even for the man upstairs to fullfil. I folded n placed in Palms 91. From experience... don't look back. Hardest thing is to forgive them. Even if they didn't ask for it. Do it for yourself. To clarify n allow yourself to forgive for beating yourself up mentally. Allowing the ❤️ to mend n heal. Cry it out n clear your soul. Once done...pick yourself up...dust yourself off. Say proudly...I am here to love n be loved. Love comes out of NOWHERE. I was 46 working in training on my day off. I agreed to work. U know the impossible prayer I wrote? God had a sense of humor...n showed who's God! He send the most good looking man I ever met. We both were immediately attracted to each other's energy. He chased me but I didn't make it easyyyyy. Everything is written was gifted by God. What made my prayer impossible? I prayed for a virgin. There was no way... But God granted with an intelligent man with a good heart n soul. Willing to love n take care of me. Yes I was extremely shocked I was his first. He was gentle n sensitive. To this day he still loves me n more after 2 yrs. Now 48...he has been wanting to marry me. Not before thanking God for loving me enough to blessed me with all I prayed for. I shared this with only 2 people...now here. Moral of the story....God has created someone already for U. Divorce means nothing when God has u in his hands. Remember that.

Good video...no rambling...clear statements, no editing needed..what I do in quiet moments is remind myself of the good things men have told me like, “You have a lot to offer and I am a nice looking woman.” The guy I’m talking to now said this very thing to me and I listened. He gets quiet at times. I keep things in perspective. I’m busy with grad school, caring for my mother (which is a full time job) and I force myself to keep my emotions out of how I view the quiet moments. He always comes back 😉. I’ve learned to always keep a degree of separation (emotionally) and to guard my heart until I know his true intentions.

How much space and how many times a year does a man need space ? He and I both work and are not kids thats for sure. He seems to not know what he wants to do .Every year when we hit another year anniversary....he gets scarex I guess. During this pandemic he took a 5 month break ...then is trying to come back 1 step at a time like when we first dated 3 years agi.

I also learned that when a man pulls away and stops contacting you or seems disinterested, he is more than likely entertaining another prospect... they are not like us. We want stability and exclusiveness. They want options and the feeling of something new
@HelenaHartCoaching3 жыл бұрын
If a man wants options and the feeling of something new constantly, that’s a red flag in my opinion. My husband and I gave our perspective on that in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qom2qKemgdOpl6s

I keep a journal for the times that I want to text him anything that I cannot condense into 1 or 2 short sentences. and then I shift my focus to work, cleaning, pampering, meditation/prayer/reading, listening to dating coaches, or sleeping.. which ever one is priority. Journaling helps me get it off my chest so I don't forget about it. It also helps me keep track of things to ask questions later so I can respond logically over emotionally.

Plus, being busy and put your focus back on yourself gets your mans attention, quickly. Great advice but life is short and I'd say do what you have to do, say what u want to say, tell him how you feel. Be vulnerable. If he is still not showing any interest and ignoring you then pull yourself together and let go of him completely. The right man will always come to you. There is two things in life that you'll never have to chase; True friends and true love!

I love #5 from “things to do”. As an impatient person, 1-3 are difficult for me to implement in my experience, but 5 “get bored with his lack of action” fits in perfectly with my temperament and is the quickest way for me to get over a love interest who is unavailable. Also, 4 is brilliant. I definitely had the experience of feeling motivated to growing in and attending to other areas in my life while getting over someone. Very productive time haha. This is so true! I had a man pull away and because I wasn’t familiar with it, I started panicking and texted him like crazy to keep the connection. He ended things. Then I decided to put all the energy back into myself and now he’s been popping up and reaching out here and there, without me moving a finger. I still deserve better though - I want a high-caliber, masculine man that is clear and 150% sure he wants me, and communicates with me through hard times because he doesn’t want to lose me 😉

Again, I'm liking how real you are. You're talking about what we're wired to and reframing it. Realizing attraction can be tuned to the wrong kind of guy, and to intend to recalibrate to how he's acting instead of his overall energy, which is obviously my paraphrase. Really though, it got me thinking about anchors in NLP. We can create positive anchors intentionally, as well as collapse negative anchors... Really that's what we're talking about here. A negative anchor. It fires off attraction when a man's energy matches the negative experience we're used to... Meanwhile we have a positive or negative association to how a man is showing up... When he's attentive and calling we feel good. When he's pulling away and we don't know why, we feel anxious... So the key is retraining our pattern/strategy. Instead of guy pursues, we get feelings, guy pulls away, we get scared and drive ourselves crazy cuz we're still positively oriented to his general energy (that's based on polarity with an emotionally unavailable man)... Instead, guy pursues, we get feelings, guy pulls away, we get bored, cuz we're oriented to his negative anticlimactic behavior.... Like honestly, who gets up and walks out of an amazing movie just as it's building to the peak of the storyline? If a guy bails out like that, it's like, well you're no fun. So yeah, good stuff... The next guy that pulls away I'm just gonna change his name in my phone to "Fun Sucker" for sucking the fun right out of our awesome experience... And then tell my head when it starts to think of him how cool it was too he sucked the fun out and left me bored. God, I hope that works... And some of the stuff I'm having to look at to solve this makes me feel like I have to deny my feelings you be something different and leaves me with diminished hope to the point of high sensitivity lately... But this is REAL. This I can wrap my mind around. I might not get it right away, but I can be me while practicing it and that feels good.

We think that it's just us, but over the years I'm shocked at how many women this happens to. Fortunately I found my centre, so when this happens to me, it has started getting easier and easier to get back there. It has just happened again. It is a pattern as this is our 3rd shot at something. He has become distant because I pushed a little for something more exclusive. I have told myself that I am also a prize here and if me speaking my truth keeps making him run away, well then so be it. We do have a special connection, but he is damaged and now, I'm actually not so sure if I want to be there. Love the getting bored with the lack of motivation. I always go back to gym, gardening, early morning walks to the dam, seeing my friends, getting my focus back on work, or just relaxing with series. The more we practice remembering we have value and importance and that our needs also should be met the easier it gets to believe it. By voicing my pure intentions for exclusivity, I have realised is not needy, it's setting a boundary. Thank you for your beautiful work.

Build a new habit to get back to ur feminine energy: Focus on what is right in front of u e.g. friend, workout, online course, watch a video of #Helenahart if your pattern is to think about him 4. Build up ur life outside of the world of u & him e.g. workout ( gym / go in nature etc. ) 5. Let urself get bored with this lack of momentum, lack of masculine action energy, lack of following through his promises , lot of back & forth

When a man pulls away it hurts unless you understand that being around a women for so long decreases his testosterone level, give him space and if its meant to be he will be even more happy to see you, dont punish him, tell him yes its hurts your feelings. You want a man not another gf that's why you feel in love with him the 1st place. Give him space, let him be with the guys trust me when he comes back he will be so loving towards you, think of it as a gift to you, its sounds strange but read an article on what to do when he backs off. Ill cut and paste it later excellent article. It really helped me understand men. Get hobbies, tske classes, hang with family, friends, co-workers, etc. Be the prize 🏆

I’m being cautious and not jumping to a rebound. Also met 2 new guys but they are not for me so I practiced being my feminine fun self as I and another girl danced around a bond fire. These 2 single guys literally were fighting for me to speak with them through that entire night. Best night ever. Please keep your videos going. They are clearly helpful in my life 💖💫

Thank you so much for making this video Helena, I find myself re-watching it over and over. I am dating a man who works in investment banking and has crazy hours. I have been understanding of his work schedule and only being able to see each other once a week, but the inconsistent communication has been driving me nuts. We've been able to communicate about it, but he'll only change for a week before it's back to what it was before and it really makes me sad. I am starting to see things for what they are.

Thing's i do to re-train my brain is workout, clean , find new hobbies like skating, catch up on reading, go hiking, picnics, journal, meditate, pray, binge watch tv series, spiritual baths, do my own nails , go shopping , running, walking ect...all things i love all the focus and energy returns to me, i become self centered. Most of the time being in a relationship pulls you away from yourself....youll find how much you've missed your own company, anything after 3 weeks just throw the whole relationship away, a man that want's you wouldn't waste valuable time. Men pursue the women they want. Let this be a season of getting back to yourself. After 3 weeks you'll have new healthy self love self care habits. Youll be attracting more then just him because you'll glow different. 💖

I like this format! And getting in touch with boredom is brilliant! So obvious, but I never saw it...wait for the masculine energy to approach me! Why didn't I think of that? The right advice at the right time! Thank you!

I found this video at the end of my day and it is the most important concept that I have heard all day, and possibly in my whole life (I am 73), regarding relationships with men. Please continue with your easy talking style. I really "got" what you are saying, particularly the last positive point. I am excited about hearing what else you have to say about relationships, because after all these years (and 17 years of marriage) I still have hope of finding true companionship.

Yes, thank you. Am in a similar situation right now and am working towards it, hearing this from an expert helps me more. What am doing now is focusing on my building my self though in the first place I did something wrong of letting him know how i felt, trying to explain my self, blaming my self but then I realized it wasn't right and pulled out and am now getting off him and actually loosing even the little feelings I developed for him. Thank you.

I tried a video message focused on warmth and what I felt which also completely honored him pulling away. I was really proud of myself. I didn't go into story or the negative. I mentioned after he got sick that things got challenging and I felt we became like two islands experiencing each other separately without ever finding out what was true for the other and said I'd like to talk about what was true if he's open to it... My expression was so authentic and I was really happy I did it for me and felt like I nailed it. It didn't draw him back to me at all, and while that was ok cuz I was happy with myself, I also felt like it's really over. He said he figured out he's not ready, and I know it's not personal, but I feel really hurt. I feel lead on and made a fool of. It feels like he offered me a seat at his table and like a gentleman, pulled a chair out for me to sit and when I went to accept and sit in it, he pulled it the rest of the way out from underneath me just to watch me fall down. Why is this so hard? Why can't men just love a woman as she is? They set us up to have to play games and then project all the crazy on to us.

In my opinion and experience, the right guy will love you as you are (as long as you’re loving and accepting all the different parts of yourself, even the parts that don’t always feel good) - and he absolutely WON’T disappear! 💕

Helena- I needed this today. Perfect message. I am cleaning my pantry, cabinets and closets this weekend bc my man has asked to put this weekend “on hold” for getting together. We have been together for only 2 months but every weekend we see each other. Not sure if he is going to break up with me or if he just needs space. I’m trying so hard to put my energy elsewhere. Thank you!!!
