I once said you could read a phone book and make it sound delicious not a cereal box etc. it was a tongue in cheek opinion but in skimming this collection ( was awe struck from Dickens you did last year) went to o Henry. Truly love that story read it in middle school or junior high as it was called. Your narration makes my mental narration while reading is like comparing a droll nursery rhyme to a magnificent symphonic piece. Such affectation such gravitas. I remember reading out load in English classes and I wasn’t bad but if you were there I don’t think I’d ever read out loud again. I may never do so now! These are great stories that are certainly made even more dramatically and beautifully executed by you. I couldn’t fall asleep listening to these I would have to stay awake enthralled till their conclusion. That’s fine with me. For now you are the Magi

That is so sweet of you to say-- I don't think of it often, but your comment made me recall how often I was asked to read aloud. But it was volunteering to read and record textbooks for the blind that made me learn that I might want to try recording (and starting this sanctuary).
