Minor correction, at 5:46 you say you can open the "footprint editor", but you meant "footprint assignment tool". The footprint editor for someone new to KiCad is a separate tool that lets you edit a footprint to modify it. The footprint assignment tool lets you link at existing footprint to a symbol.

In schematic editor Go to View -> Grid Properties -> Set "current Grid" = 1.27mm or 50mils Then select all the components with Ctrl+A, then right click and click "Alight elements to Grid". After the alignment check if all the connections are correct and then run ERC.

I am getting an error which goes like this Error: No simulation model definition found for symbol 'SW1'. Symbol SW1 [SW_SPDT] The same error for other components like the Battery_Cell, Attiny85, microphone_condensor I tried searching online didn't find anything, how do I resolve this?

You can ignore that error, or exclude that error. The error is related to simulation which won't be a part of your PCB design. If you have anymore question please drop them in forum.pcbcupid.com

@@poojaarangaiah7606 I think the symbols is corrupted, delete the existing symbol and replace with a new one.

It is a bug in I believe 7.0.5 and below. They are working on it. In the meantime, you can disable that warning. This is only used if you are using KiCad to actually run a simulation on the circuit, for example to trace a waveform of an oscillator. Just like linking footprints to a component for the PCB, and 3D models to be able to view a rendering, there is a simulation model that describes the mathematical properties of the component in a circuit.
