After you have passed 12th class: - Get a Class 2 medical certificate. - Complete the DGCA exams. - Get a Class 1 medical certificate. - Go to a flight school where you want to get your pilot training (CPL course). DGCA exams are: - Air Regulations - Aviation Meteorology - Air Navigation - Technical General - Technical Specific and you also need to give RTR (Radio Telephony Restricted) exam.

18 means only the lowest age, and you can get your CPL when you are over 18 years old. And it is the same thing with an ATPL, of course you can receive an ATPL when you are over 21 years old.

Some basic things: The requirement is that you need to pass 12th class with maths and physics, and you are fluent in English. Maths and physics are compulsory subjects. (Students who don't have maths and physics must complete them from open school, NIOS.) First thing after 12th class (or when you are in 12th class) is to take an aviation medical examination (Class 2 medical), so that you can be sure that you are medically fit to become a pilot. After you have passed 12th class you can complete the DGCA exams. The exams are: - Air Regulations - Air Navigation - Aviation Meteorology - Technical General - Technical Specific And you also need to give the RTR (Radio Telephony Restricted) exam. Then you can go to a flight school where you want to complete your flight training.
