5 Inch Gauge Class 31 Diesel Loco 5 First Ou

Hi I’ve subscribe to your channel love your 31 I’ve just brought one myself going to put it into BR blue as I drove them in BR days I have a quick video of my one seems to be not to bad the motor ect two new batteries and away she went just in the middle of building a 5 inch gauge railway in my garden so hopefully in time will post some videos 👍👍

Hi Mr & Mrs T. Hopefully they will both give us good service. Thanks for subscribing. I will be doing more work on mine shortly, so will video and upload when I get time. Is yours the same body molding and chassis/bogey set up. I may need to get replacement motors at some time, but am not sure where the type I have came from. Thanks.

@@masterpiecesinminiature8299 thank you for your reply yes mine is the same body shell and bogies chassis as yours I am the same as you trying to find time to do stuff I have a fair amount of work to do on mine so hopefully will film it

@@masterpiecesinminiature8299 yes my motors are the same as yours fasco 12v think you can still get new ones the body and chassis and bogies is exactly the same as yours 👍

@@mrmrst9020 Hi again, thanks for the motor information. I have looked Fasco motors up, but not yet found the motor in question I do not think. I will have another look. The motors on my 31 have some attached brackets I beleive, unless the brackets are part of a cradle that the motors are held in, but I rather think not. Cheers for now.

@@masterpiecesinminiature8299 hi I think my motors have a bracket aswell I think there is another company near or in Norfolk or Cambridgeshire which sell motors for 5 inch gauge locos I can’t remember who they are but Google 12 volt motors for 5 inch gauge locos and I am shore it will come up kind regards

Nice loco is the detailing not finished on the cabs as its got no marker lights on it! Nice model tho I would love one of these beutities 🤩

I have now chosen an identity for the loco, and will update in the next video I put on about this loco, so it now has a very temporary Number On the cab side.
