It’s begun. This video marks the first “I played 5 Dogma-Likes” that we will see so much more of after the sequel comes out.

I'm actually so excited for that surge. I wasn't able to try everything on my list, so I'm 100% sure I've missed a gem somewhere that I'll love once I give it a go. That was DD for me for the past decade.

Nice list! I love outward, it was such a unique game that reminded me a lot of like old school open world rpgs. It's one of the few games that made me feel like an actual adventurer. I haven't tried with the DLC but I know they added a form of minimal fast travel which made the game a lot more bearable haha. Kenshi looks interesting as well! The UI looks rough but I like the idea of a dynamic world and making organic stories. I'd definitely be interested in a Kenshi adventure if you decide to make one.

I did hear about the Definite Edition having a bit more quality of life features but I haven't gotten to the point where I could experience it yet. It's still installed though and I've been planning on playing it more, and maybe make a dedicated video. But Kenshi, I just fell in love with the whole thing. It is rough and hard to get into and that goes for pretty much everything else it has to offer. It's such a unique experience though that I think it's one of those games where you just have to try it to truly get how the game feels like to play. I accidentally spent 30 hours on it for this video when I was only planning to spend maybe 10 for a first impression lol

lol that's cool! I actually own it but never played it, so I'm excited to get it a try. I still play story games here and there, but I always prefer sandbox or immersive stories haha.@@Kaganath

I haven't played any of the Fable games but I've been thinking of trying it out before the new one comes out! How is it and what's the best way to get into it?

Kenshi is a masterpiece is realy hard in the beginning but when u accomplish something and build your character u can influence the world around you, save people, trade ,conquer cities or bounty hunt legendary criminals is the best sandbox out there period lets hope the kenshi 2 will follow the legacy....

Is there any news of a Kenshi sequel? Also I really want to start making Kenshi videos soon but these playthroughs get so long so I'm still trying to figure out the logistics of recording and pacing the videos. It's been one of the most fun sandboxes I've played in a while though. Last one must've been Bannerlord about a year ago when I first discovered it.

@@Kaganath Chris hunt the creator of kenshi says the Kenshi 2 will be a prequel set 1000 years before the events of the first game is the same map is allready in production with unreal engine for 2 years but he will release only a finished game because the ealry access or update every few days is a stressful progress i believe that 2026-2027 is the mark so its far away for now.

Really excited to spend more time with it. We've been playing Rise so that's been taking time away, but I'm so excited to go through my backlog now after trying out these games.

dragon age inquisition was fun. yes the open world was a bit over packed with nothing side activities and the "final boss" is a joke when the real ending that will matter in dragon age 4 was dlc, but i got to kill enemies as an immortal jedi so i had so much fun with it. the character writing is mostly good, bioware is far from their glory days but at least this wasn't dragon age 2, and the lore of the series is very interesting. side note, there's a system where you act as a judge to decide the fate of major antagonists or minor people that piss you off and some of the choices you can make regarding their fates had me dying laughing. the game was really fun but not one of those games i pick back up consistently every few years. both the most recent games by the 2 Monster Hunter teams are a blast. honestly, i would recommend World more, simply for the fact that its team is releasing Monster Hunter Wilds sometime in 2025 and the two teams handle the series pretty differently. both ways are great but if you go from Rise to Wilds without knowing the 2 teams thing you may be confused with how different they are. again, i highly recommend both as fantastic games but, for the reasons i mentioned, World should be the priority. capcom also did the return to world event so that game is seeing a history resurgence of players, given how old the game is. this was likely for the reason of, as i explained, "we're making another Monster Hunter, no not the guys who made Rise but the ones who made world so familiarize yourself with our design (the original design of Monster Hunter)" also um Rise is not the grounded one of the 2 by any means.

For MH, I definitely agree. The reason why I went with Rise in the first play is because I felt it was more beginner friendly as compared to World which is the more traditional monster hunter experience. I played with my gf during the recent MH Rise playthrough, and the faster pace of Rise definitely helped in getting her into it, but even then she felt it was slow during our early hours which would have been much worse if I started her with World. She might have not given the series a chance. But now she's hooked, we do hunts almost every night so once we're finished with Sunbreak MH World will be next up, and I'm very excited to get back into it before Wilds releases. I haven't finished DAI yet but I am looking to make a separate video for it. I played back when it was first released for the PS3 but I don't remember much of what I played, but it's been better than I remembered so I'm looking forward to actually completing it for the very first time. I'll probably do a couple more playthroughs before a full review, and then I'm looking to dive in to the older titles as well which looks super interesting!

that's fair @@Kaganath some people will like one style over the other so some games will be an easier sell than others. great work, if that was a recommendation based on her tastes, she should be very happy that you know her so well. i hope you two have a lot of fun with Monster Hunter. what was her first main weapon? i hope you enjoy DAI. what class/specialization are you and what party members have you grown fond of? always fun questions to discuss in games like that.

I want to play something like dragon's dogma but I can't play it because it makes me sick every 5 min. I get motion sickness I can't continue anymore. I think it's because of motion blurs and all the cenematic camera effects which can't be turned off. I had to refund
