We just received your cookbook a few days ago and already made the German pancakes for breakfast yesterday. So yummy! My eight-year-old has never shown any interest in cooking before, but got quite excited when he saw the package and the cookbook got his attention. We won't be having a Thanksgiving dinner, due to financial difficulties, and because many of our family members have passed away, or live too far away from us, we have nowhere to go for Thanksgiving. I have been feeling down, about this, because I grew up, in a family where, Thanksgiving and the Holidays were big get togethers with big, wonderful meals, and I miss those times, and gatherings, so very much! 😢 I am 54 years old, and my husband and I, wish that we could be invited to some of our friends homes, but have not been. I guess things just tend to get harder, when one gets older. That is why when you said that, you wished that we could All eat together, at a big, long table, it really touched my heart! 😊 💜 💜 💜 Thank you for always being so sweet, and for brightening our days! I am dreading it. I wish we could fast forward to March. But that's not reality. All we can do is look to God for strength and do the best we can.
