Im getting really peeved at GoodWill's high pricing. I KNOW what the prices were at 2+ yrs ago & the stuff is donated and not any different . Even with inflation most item prices are double or more :(

Electronics I like to pick up are electronic and graphing calculators. Usually these are in the baggies at my stores.

I had sticky rubber on a set of photography lamps, got it off with magic eraser! I was so excited. 200$ lamps for 5 bucks each 😊

I guess the stores want to see stuff stay on the shelves and not go to us and stay out of the landfills. Don't understand the greed....time for a bins run or look around your streets on certain days when they have special trash haul day. I have found some great items that could be flipped. Stop buying at the box stores, look around local there's options

OMGosh, I was at my thrift store a week or 2 ago & a worker was going up & down the smalls aisles, picking up items and dropping them into a large rolling trashcan! Apparently the items had "aged out" of their system and were being disposed of! I was Horrified!!!

Electronics: I found a new all-in-one printer for $1.99 on Goodwills color tag sale last week. It works and is like new. Way better than my current printer. Score! I don’t think they realized it had that color tag. I love your videos, I learn so much!

We don’t have to much goodwills close to me in Michigan we have alot of salvation Army’s so I go to them to look around for myself but now when I go in them I’ll look for selling now for my eBay page

I haven't shopped goodwill in almost a year in my area, they confronted me about changing tags when there wasn't one on the item I had, confronted by a hard goods price manager loudly ,5 times at checkout ,when I've watched her price her 40.00 items at 3.95 . I'm trying to catch her ,but a friend rated me out about it . Yep ,major problems at my little store .

That's awful 😞 they should know it's not right to treat customers like that. Sorry to hear that happened to you. At our Goodwill they won't let you buy an item at all, if it's missing a tag, or the tag looks damaged or slightly ripped. They bin it and it goes back to the back for processing and you may not come across it again. Happened to me a few times which was irritating. The items I had were clothing items and clearly they get shuffled around a bit since people could try on items prior to 2020. Haven't been there since. They just take it from you at checkout. I've had different experiences but had one lady try to make me out to be the bad guy, or another give the stink eye. Just depends on who's working. Now St Vincent de Paul is a bit kinder about stuff. They have been wonderful as I've shopped with them a bit after 2020. I found a few nice dress forms for sewing and none of them had tags on them, and the manager choose to offer me a fair price on the one I wanted 🤷 and was very nice about it.

I’m in disbelief that they do that! For the same reason they’re hiking the prices up so much to keep the sellers from selling. It makes no sense. What do they want people to buy non valuable stuff What does it matter what we do with our items once we pay for them it’s insane!

I won’t shop or donate to Goodwill anymore. My area Goodwill’s have lost their minds with their prices. My last visit to them was over 6 months ago. I ended up getting angry & walking out when I saw a couple of Dollar Tree gold metal baskets priced at $9.99 each. I literally gasped out loud & probably said a few not so nice words, lol. There are other thrift stores in my area that have much better pricing & are much more pleasant to shop at (No loud music, etc). xo

so speaking about electronics us resellers I think should leave behind things like calculators (Texas instrument) and other things single parents would need for kids in school try to remember what Goodwill is for yeah we can make a very good profit on a $10 calculator but that calculator is a must have for kids in seventh grade helps the single parent not have to pay $50-$100 on ebay I don’t think I’ve ever seen her resell a calculator I don’t know just food for thought! happy reselling😊
