Adam (and OS team), you've absolutely nailed the 'practice with me' format; the ones you were putting out through the pandemic were fantastic, and now with this level of production and live drumming is a game changer. Very excited to see more like this and with subjects applicable to other instruments (lines/phrasing/playing changes etc). If this is a glimpse of what you have locked up in Open Studio then you're in grave danger of getting a new member!

25 years ago I quit piano because the best my teacher could come up with was bad paper copies of some boring Mozart pieces or whatever, didn't help that he was a choleric alcoholic. Now seeing this, it's mind-blowing. What a time to be alive. It's a wild understatement but: Great stuff!

I realized thinking about the 7b13b9 is easier if you think a chord minor7b5 + 1 step above the root note, so in this case its just gminor7b5 on top and A on the bottom which is one step above G

Warren Macphearson just released a whole video on this dominant b9 chord yesterday. If you want the b13 play a min7b5 a whole step below the root. If you just want the b9, play a dim 7 a whole step below the root.
