For example, the moments when Park Dong Hoon stops and just stay breathing for a while, the reason why Ji An runs to him is because he's thinking about dying.. those are moments where he stops to breathe and think "should I end with it or just keep living this way"

I think shin ha kyun was a masterpiece in beyond evil he was having a mixture of all emotions his eyes were sad even though he was smiling at times I though that he was completely evil .he was at his best in beyond evil he is a legend

"Secret" was very emotionally tormenting to watch. She wasted so many years of her life on a dude who essentially was just a weasel. The whole show was a crash course on toxic relationships. While the male lead had 'some' redeeming qualities, he too was overall a shitty dude. It is eventually revealed that all bad things that happened to her were orchestrated by her boyfriend- who didn't want to lose his career over a hit and run case. However, the male lead too, nonetheless, did some really shitty things to her and it just broke my heart. Even though they ended up dating at the end, it was still toxic.

I can't describe how much Beyond Evil shocked my mom and me. Watching that drama was a massive rollercoaster because I was constantly divided between supporting the main character or not, and as we learned more about his story I couldn't help but cry. This drama is amazing, definitely one of my favorites (it's #2 in my top 5) and I can't wait to watch it again. A masterpiece.

Of all my 20 years watching kdramas, Kang Yoo Jung ( Secret, 2013) got to be the MOST miserable, tormented, pitiful character. The story is extraordinary that it should be one of the greatest Korean Dramas of All Time.

When I first saw the drama years back, I can tell this drama is nothing but pain given how puffy yoo jung’s eyes were and how every scene I see she is always crying just from the trailers, teasers, and previews. Too sad for my weak heart.

Misunderstanding and facing judgement is bad enough, to be toyed with because of people's whims is also horrible. Losing your closest family member, being branded as something you are not. All are equally painful to face.

SPOILERS!!! Also, Jung Ba reum from Mouse had a very difficult life who was born as a psychopath. Then later when he came to know that he had killed innocent lives, he was suffering miserably. And he also ended up killing his own psychopath father. At the end he died bt at least he was happy that he didn't die as a monster.

I would add both main characters from Between Lovers, they both experienced trauma at young ages, plus the female lead was accused by her own family for the death of her younger sister. Meanwhile the male lead struggles to live with that trauma and with no family or money.

Treated as a lab rat even when he wasn't born, born only as a test subject, having experimented by his own mother, suppressing his own demons, having guilt for life time for what his other personality did in village, leading a life with messed up brain, and not able to let his emotion out in front of anyone or even trying to feel emtions in his life because of his demons..... Do Hyun Soo from Flower of Evil had a truly sad and messed up life. It was heart breaking how everyone treated him a psycho just bcoz his father was one.💔😢 But I also wanted to add Eun Youngro of Snowdrop. She is literally the saddest character in the drama, and even probably one of the most miserable among all the dramas I've watched. Her mother died when she was 10, her father remarried, her step-mom was evil so she and her brother were forced to live with their grandma. She got scholarship and lives in a Girls' Dorm even tho her father is wealthy. Her brother was sent to military and ended up being killed while on patrol. The first man she ever loved turned out to be a NK spy and held her with all the ppl in the dorm hostage. Later all the students in the dorm found out her identity and got mad at her, even her friends hated her. Lastly her father got in prison, her lover died, her friends still didn't forgive her and the whole nation knows her as the ANSP Director's daughter who hid a spy and was seen partially responsible for the dorm hostage taking. Even through the very end of last ep, Youngro was crying. She had no one left and was trying hard to live as per her lover's wish tho her life is nothing but a living hell at this point.

In "The princess's Man ", the two main leads suffer a lot but it was not as bad as the ones from this video.And "loving you a thousand times ',the female lead got such a pitiful life. Lastly, the female lead from " All about Eve ",the villian will always stab her in the back

I gotta say that I actually loved how wicked and manipulative was Jo Min Hyeok in Secret (maybe because he's played by Ji Sung, who's awfully charismatic so you can't help but love him). How he tormented the FL and how he falls for her was what kept me watching. However, I was hoping that they didn't end up dating. The perfect ending to me would've been Min Hyeok apologizing to her, realizing that after what he's done he doesn't deserve to be with her and them just going their separate ways. But no! Poor Yoo Jung went from a terrible relationship to another (slightly less) terrible relationship...
