Secret, one of my favorite Korean dramas! I use have rewatched it 3 times, and I rarely rewatch dramas (other one I’ve rewatched is ‘Because This Is My First Life’). Some people might find Hwang Jang Eum’s too exaggerated, but this is one of her best acted dramas (along with Kill Me, Heal Me; she makes a great pairing with Ji Sung it seems). And since then she’s one of my favorite Korean actresses.

I remember watching this and thought it was the most cruel drama, how much they heaped on the FL's character ( I came to find out that was normal for that time, haha) But it was also a very toxic relationship between the main leads as he thought she was at fault for his fiancee's death and tormented the FL constantly. Even when he became enamored of her, he was cruel. I've never watched it again because you feel totally beaten up after watching.

She covered and took blame for a crime and criminal and even after she found out what was done to her, she still wouldn't tell the truth. She deserved everything what hell she went through. I have no pity for this type of character. She wasn't innocent. It was awhile ago so I might have forgotten the details or the ending but that was how I remembered it.
