simply put, fifa is easier, smoother, and has licensing and massive marketing, and hence is the more popular game. while, pes, in MY opinion, is more realistic. the physics, the way players, take touches, pass, the kind of goals you score in it, all that makes it more realistic. the way players run in fifa, and the gameplay, feels arcade, the way players suddenly change direction when not sprinting looks weird, and it's often scoring the same type of goals in fifa which can make it boring.

it took me some time to get used to pes 2015 but slowly I started finding out the differences compared to previous editions. the players especially quality ones have distinct styles of control, dribbling, the first touches (my fav feature).etc. there are few negative points ofcourse like keepers, still jump like balloons and fall like rocks, finesse shooting seems tad unrealistic as well.all in all tho, a really addictive game.

This is a fantastic game, especially on PC as you can simply import all the crests and licensed kits. Also the lack of scripting and amazing AI really puts this game ahead of FIFA in my opinion.

At the moment everyone knows how bad the EA servers are. Plus with the addition of price ranges in fifa ultimate team essentially leaves fifa broken in pieces. Because of this, pes seem to be working extra hard to create a better game and that is why I will probably be getting pes 16 not fifa 16.

Went from Fifa to PES a month ago after more then 10 years now and I think ill be staying with PES this time from now on. I never did like the fact that pes doesn't have the proper license for the BPL but with that a side, I was more impressed with the gameplay to actually care about it. It felt more challenging which made scoring goals feel more rewarding then it does on fifa. Has more of a selection when it comes to national teams and with the PTE patch I can finally have proper kits which for me as an arsenal fan means I don't have to use north London ever again.

I've always criticized PES for the "stiff animations" and lack of depth, especially when it came to ball control; always just pass and shoot. I am happy to be corrected. LONG READ... I think? Finally someone who sees it like I do! I've played PES demos and the gameplay was always great and more versatile than what each FIFA has to offer. I preferred last year's FIFA to this year's because quite frankly the only difference is a downgrade - It is ridiculously easy, even when you try to challenge yourself and change the settings! I don't have an Ultimate Team, I could never really get into it, probably cause I'm not committed enough to spend etc like many people do, but the many licenses and other realistic elements of the game make me buy it each year. But for me, FIFA 15 has been a joke! Before buying this year's FIFA, I was spending my time playing NBA, I bought last year's to see if it was any good, and quite frankly I couldn't put the game down. The gameplay/ tactics offer plenty, the graphics were good but what impressed me most was the longevity and the execution of the features! The MyCareer mode (which is the NBA "equivalent" of a Player Career mode on FIFA for anyone who doesn't know) offered much more, in terms of realism and depth. My only concern, which is probably why I bought FIFA in the end, is that the game constantly froze to the point where it wouldn't work, and the servers aren't the best. The problem is, FIFA has gotten so successful it's almost safe to say that EA are complacent now. And the main reason they've had the success in recent years is generally down to the Ultimate Team, as long as people keep spending money on that, it looks like EA will continue to be on top. And until Konami can get a few more licenses or match EA for rights, they'll be the smaller of the two :/ At this point, 2K seems like a very strong option. As their WWE franchise indicates, it would take some time for them, but I believe if granted, they could give the real players a game we actually want :)

Just bought it to xbox 360 and I love how the game wants you to improve your game. It does not leave you with the sense that scripting was the cause of the conceded goal, but it was actually a mistake you made that led to that goal. You do actually have to learn how to play the game properly instead of relaying on pace and professional fouls. I also like the tactical approach where you can shape your own playstyle or make the most out of each player in the squad. Konami actually have a chance to get back the players who left them for the new and improved FIFA series. While FIFA drifts away with another game in the series where not much have changed,there are some annoying things with this game as well... REPLAYS, i'll just mention it one more time, REPLAYS! While you get irritated by sloppy passing or a player that was in the way when you tried to clear the ball, it would be great if KONAMI dropped the final replay. One replay of the situation that led to the goal is ok. A replay of the goal itself and then back to playing the game, is fine by me. But the last replay where the option to save it comes up should be dropped. Yes I know you can press start to move to the next replay, but it is annoying to have to press the button 3 times to get back to playing the game! If there were an option to turn of replays, I would definitely use it! Comentators are boring and the soundtrack is tiny, not to mention all the teams that are not licensed.... The FIFA Tweens will still stick to FIFA, but this game is a step in the right direction and I think that it will win back some of the old crowd. The game is well worth its money if you are tired of pace, ping pong and miss the good old PES days!

Played fifa 15 for a 3 days now, gotta say it's the same as 14, some players faces in fifa 15 is not realistic for example Manchester United defender Evans, does not look like him at all, shinji kawaga looks terrible an many more, however the only thing that I like is they have added all the English stadiums that's it. Overall it's average, it's the same gameplay as 14 with minor features such as they improve goalkeeper in the game.

While you're praising PES for not releasing a half arsed next gen debut title (would have been PES 2014), they've decided to release PES 2015 almost two months after FIFA 15! I just don't see how this will turn out well for PES as Fifa has pretty much gone uncontested for two months. And sales of seasonal sports games like FIFA and PES go downhill quite quickly as people tend to like to coincide their new FIFA/PES season with the domestic leagues, or at least transfer windows of those leagues.

I'm no football fan, but I fell in love ISS/Pro Evo on the PS1&2. The first Pro Evo release on PS3 was so abysmal though I haven't bothered with it since. I tried Fifa but it just didn't seem to have have the same depth of play or that "just one more match" factor that kept me up until 3am with the older PES games. And strangely I kinda missed not having to edit all the team names and update the kits lol. I think I may just have to give this new one a chance.

Bought it 2 weeks ago afther not playing a football game for years so I am going trough the steep learning curve again and realised how I missed playing a decent game of PES. this game suffered allot during the last gen...it was great on PC but the PS3 and xbox360 versions had tons of issues..and the difference between PES and FIFA is that FIFA is more main streamed for the casual player and it has all of the teams licensed ....PES on the other hand has most of the teams licensed but not ALL...and its for the hardcore players since its not user friendly at the start ...plus since EA makes FIFA they do a better job for online play...PES had issues with online games but they say its all fixed now.

FIFA has over 600 clubs, PES only around 100-200. FIFA has scanned tons of player's faces in real life, PES never done it. FIFA has the Barclays Premier League fully licensed, PES has 1 club or none licensed. PES is more arcady. FIFA has very bad editing. You can't even edit the player's age, name, nationality, NOTHING; only their position, boots and abilities. PES lets you edit anything. Of course people say FIFA is more casual because they have all the assisted settings turned on, dumbasses... But that's not the case. When both games have assists turned off, FIFA is more hardcore.

IGN UK seems to be only part if IGN that is legit, with segments like the superhero show, the tv show conversations and gaming commentary. The main IGN in US has lost it, giving in to money given to them by game devs. Devs who don't give money for their game reviews get poor reviews (look at Alien vs the CoD games!). IGN US just keeps coming up with useless videos that are meaningless. Just hope to see more IGN UK videos, the only reason to be subscribed to IGN....

This Game Was So Good, the graphic. the motion. how they react. but what i want is A Fight on the game, and the trash talk mouth. and the others. and the worst part is.... BPL League. No Team Was Good on the team. PES Got some trouble with the jersey and thats annoying. on the become a legend what they sucks is they don't have the press conference, the Cutscenes. the Drama all that we want it. Is Not There Same as FIFA. and i want some more motion in PES. The Player was like not Flexible. They Were Like Stuck. Thats Suck. and PES Have A Worst Face on The Game its unrealistic.
