Have just received my crossway new testament journal bible. I am really excited about having these study tools. I have been a believer for many years and now feel that I can finally study in an orderly fashion without feeling bewildered and ashamed for not having a clue. I want to thank you for what you are doing and for sharing the crossway resources.

I would love to know if Jen has a study Bible she recommends. There are so many out there

I love love love this series! I'll be recommending it to all my sisters in Christ, so thank you! I will agree with the previous poster, though. There are times when Jen's voice drops to such a soft level that I miss parts and have to go back and relisten with the volume really high. That's my only constructive criticism, though! Great podcast!

Trust me, Jen, I can get lost with GPS/Google Maps. 😄

I think the biggest tragedy in our modern Christian churches is that this is not taught in most denominations as a whole. We frequently try to manipulate what scripture we do encounter to fit our self view or that of culture.

It’s hard to hear what Jen is saying when her voice drops, so I miss some of what Jen is saying.

Read with people, meant to be studied together, that's the rub, isn't it? Where do you find them, most churches just don't practice this.
