Was first introduced to Jen Wilken through a summer bible study last year on Sermon on the Mount. Having been a believer for over 30 years, I learned so much more than ever before. Her method of studying the passage, repetitive reading, and foundational teaching really stayed with me. I now actually remember passages of the Sermon and where in the passages certain topics are! I'm preparing to start a personal study and wanted to get some solid instruction for where/how to do it since I've primarily just done topical/devotion studies in a group. This was a fantastic conversation! So much of this is what I've seen and experienced in church and women's ministry. I've learned how to dig into the Bible. I wish I'd known how to study like this as a young mom years ago. I've been studying inductively for a couple of years and I love it.

Thank you for this, I have listened a couple of times now. Just want to gain some clarity on what was said about private devotions. I am assuming you meant that in addition to private devotions, we are also meant to study the Bible with other believers.
