had less sacks this year then the previous year but how many game changing or game ending plays did he have. Had the int/td, i believe caused 3 game ending fumbles with 2 that he recovered for sure and caused the interception in the bills game. so while the sacks were down the game changing plays went up big time. Hopefully next season its upping the sacks and still keeping/raising the game changing plays.

I'll be honest, during the 2014 NFL Draft, I wanted the Raiders to draft a WR. The player on my mind was Mike Evans. The Raiders drafted Khalil Mack instead. I hated the pick. I thought it wasn't something we needed and thought Mack was going to be a decent player at most. It wasn't until the 2014 preseason against Green Bay that Mack had 3 sacks. At that point I feel in loved with Mack and I was proven so wrong. Mack show why he was worth the pick and why he is beast. Mack is now my favorite player on the team. I even got bought his jersey after years of Raiders 1st round bust like McFadden, McCain, and Russell. Mack is a true leader and a awesome guy that is perfect for our team. So glad he is on our team.

I'm not a Raiders fan and sometimes I feel fans may have a tendency to hype players of their favorite franchise beyond their true talent (hell we all do it, God knows I do) and I felt this way about Crabtree a little bit last year, and felt Mack might be a little overhyped (there was no denying both of these players both could be stars though). I'm a Redskins fan but I absolutely love Khalil Mack. It is blasphemy that he didn't rank top 3 in my opinion. He proved himself this season as an incredible athlete and one of the best pass rushers I've ever seen. He'll be a key piece in the Raiders making a deep playoff run with Carr returning to the superstar he is once that injury heals. I wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders are SB champs next season.
