Hi Martin I just donated 5 euros for the tabs, I wish I could have donated more but I really wanted to share my appreciation for your work, I understand how many times and money it requires. But the thing I appreciate more is that you love the guitar community and this video is the proof: you shared your wisdom for free, because your fans asked it, and if someone wants to donate, it's only for support. I decided to donate and not to buy lessons because I really wanted to support this kinds of contents, so helpful. In addition, you have a very natural style also in theaching, apart from playing. Thank you very much, I'll wait for more contents.

Thanks so much for this video. I picked up the guitar 20 years ago and I've always kind of stuck with it, but I definitely lost enthusiasm, partly because there aren't many good teachers. It's rare to find someone who can modestly tell you the truth about what they're doing, and doesn't sound like they're trying to show off, doesn't sound like they're trying to sell you something, doesn't seem like they're keeping all their best techniques to themselves... but actually sound like they're interested in teaching and sharing what they're actually doing. It may be that it takes someone very talented to be secure enough to share openly what they're doing. But either way I do appreciate what you're doing. Thanks :)

Unbelievable that you're able to do all of this through improvisation. This is the level I want to be able to get to but it feels so far away. I'm having a hard time even playing arpeggios over the correct chord. I have the arpeggios I want memorized but it feels like the chords move so fast I cant keep up! You are a huge inspiration for me

I have to wonder why 9 people put a thumbs down to this? I've been watching you and your bands videos a while now and I'm always floored at how good you guys are. From a guitarists point of view, you are such a great player. Technically brilliant with amazing accuracy but you use a lot of melodic lines and hold notes like Gilmour or Knopfler. I suppose I'm saying you don't abuse your speed but instead use it only when needed. That in my opinion is what sets you aside from a lot of technically great players. The way you teach these is so simple and open that even I can achieve some of these really complicated sounding licks. Really well done and thank you.

Great lesson and great teaching! There’s something about the melody of speech and the way you talk so articulate that is just so German (I’m German too). I don’t if it has something to do with didactics they teach you in music university or that you’re also taking vocal lessons, but it’s something I recognize from my former teachers and some friends who work at radio stations (which is why I think it might have something to do with talking into a mic properly). Can’t really put my finger on it and I never realized it before :D
