5 migrants drown in English Channel, hours after UK passes Rwanda policy

At least five people, including a child, died Tuesday while trying to cross the English Channel.
French authorities said the deaths occurred when the engine of an overcrowded small boat, carrying more than 100 people, stopped off the coast of France and several people fell into the water.
Rescuers managed to save nearly 50 people, while the rest refused to disembark and continued their journey towards Britain after restarting the engine.
The attempt to cross the English Channel took place just hours after Britain passed legislation to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda.

How did the 5 migrants drown? A boat engine stopping should not be a reason why anyone would fall into the water. It's normal, for boat engines to provide power to a boat, so a boat can move, and it's also normal, for boat engines to stop, but what is not normal is hearing 50 people somehow ending up in the water, and 5 people died after a boat engine stopped. I would like to have watched how all of those people ended up in the water after stopping a boat engine ! I am confused about how 50 people ended up in the water, and 5 of them drowned !

@@shuiwahlee5836 Hard to say since too many people were on the boat. The type of boat those people were on was too small, and overcrowded, so falling off is possible. I saw the boat they were on! I think the police tried to get involved, but those people all listened to smugglers, and not one of those people were educated to travel on water. Lessons can be hard to learn in life, and when people listen to the wrong people then lessons cannot be learned due to dying.

Will can come to school in Eastern Europe, schools are free, health care is free, in Eastern Europe we have the lowest unemployment rate, shops are open on Sundays, you can earn extra money on weekends.
