I've been following you from marriage kids money blog days. I remember reading your mortgage free post and how this gave you courage to retire early and focus on entrepreneurial venture. good to see this share again

Thank you so much for your support over the years! Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster for sure, but I'm happier today than I was when working full-time as an employee.

I'm watching my networth fall today.😅 An inflation-adjusted 7% would be great. That said, I'm rather pessimistic. I use 3% for my estimates. If things go better than that then great, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

My wife and I have used Monarch since Mint went away. It's great and I would highly recommend it.

Conservative 7% interest rate? Try a more realistic conservative 3%. Also, don't coast. A lot can happen between now and your actual retirement date. Not all of it may be good.

I appreciate your feedback. 3% is too conservative for me. Since coasting in 2021, our net worth has increased by around $500k. Check out my interview with Sam Dogen (Financial Samurai) who definitely agrees with you that Coasting is not a good way to go: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZfboXajh8qdhq8si=j5UYcum9-nqPeVoZ
