Actually that book IS referring to the Red Prince. Faelin and Faerin aren't related to the One True King at all. Plus you gotta think about it. Why it takes the Red Prince's Crown to open that doorway if it wasn't related to his mother? In the base game it is speculated that he's the bastard child of the One True King, but that notebook written by his mother confirms he's no bastard as she was secretly married to the King and Nimue was the sole witness. Leywise knows of this because of his status as the Scribe of the One True King. He's been privy to all the King's secrets. Hence when you kill the King and go to the Red Prince afterwards in the throne room Leywise is there to make his claim to the throne legitimate.

Ok I thought that the red prince was the b*****d son of the one true king and Faelin/Faerin were refered to as the imposter king in the main game. But you are correct why would the door open for the crown. I am definitely more leaning now to the red prince being it because of your points. Thanks

@@OnlyBossFIghts66 What I understand of the twin princes is that they're the same person that split themselves in two. Though how and why that happened is never touched on. The hints are there though. The red prince is 100% true kings son and that of the mother, who left the book at the knight guard mutator. The twin prince is actually more unknown at this point. Is it possible the twin princes are also the red prince that used to be a single person? At the very least the twin princes themselves are. The red prince himself might not be though. Also it makes zero sense for the mother to just abonden her husband (king) and son (prince). Re-read the book. She's clearly determined to be with the one true king even if it leads to ruin. Someone like that doesn't just up and leave. That woman, whoever she was, was one thing giving the one true king a purpose beyond ruling a kingdom.

Makes me wonder if OTK and Nimue were somehow Root plants. It is because the Root had gotten involved by so miniscule is that it threw the realms of Losesom into chaos.

Quite the load of hidden stuff (I know there's more), including lore. Impostor king being the red prince's son, and Leywise being the true schemer of the king being put to sleep. I don't think anyone would've seen that coming before DLC. I can only imagine what the next DLC may hold next.

There are 4 total rewards for the medallion/book one is turning the book into Leywise, another is the medallion, and a secret one where you give the medallion back after denying giving it to him the first time he asks, then there’s the path you showed.

there are actually 4 rewards for the scribes book, the book turn in, the medallion turn in, refuse the medallion turn in the first time and then turn it in, and the door.

I still think if you wear the princes crown with the red guard set it should put the helmet on under the crown. Similar to how the summoner chest forces the hands with it.

Misplaced memoir has actually 4 different rewards. Giving the book back, giving medallion, refusing to give medallion and then talk to him again after and then giving it, abd lastly opening the door for the relic

The Imposter King is not related to the Red Prince or the One True King. In fact, it’s assumed he’s descended from the Brothers from the Fae Legend of killing their god, alongside the Huntress.

Other then being the same person that were one. That means if they were whole they could be someone we know, or someone else altogether.

Ahh It is just in the book in the secret room mentions that the child is a imposture prince. This is why I thought that the imposture king was the one they spoke about in the book. I am torn and hope we find the answer.

The A-Dagger and the Crown are completly in the Main Game, not the DLC.

Yes you are correct but you need these items to open the secret door in the path of the fallen which is a new area for the DLC.

You don't need to even talk to the council to get the dagger. That part is false information. All that's needed is the dagger itself. Once you have it, you have it. Then take it back to nimue to be turned into the weapon. I actually tried to fight the council after I did this but it didn't let me. They can be fought if you HAVE the dagger quest item. But if you don't have it in your inventory you can't fight them. Which, again, does not need to be done to turn the quest item into the weapon at Nimue.

All that is known for sure is that thw twin princes are the same person that somehow split themselves in two. Some games show it better. Devil May Cry 5 covers it pretty well. It's a bit like that. As for who the twin princes are when they're whole, that's unknown. Perhaps will remain the case.

Have the one true king map (can be campaign or adventure. What's important is starting at the coast). When you have the red prince dungeon on that map give the red prince the three coins. Defeat one true king then return to his throne. Red prince and scribe will be there and the red prince gives you the outfit.

You may know this, but in case anyone reading doesn't, to get the assassins dagger, u dont have to refuse to hand it over to the council then fight them. once u get it off the King's body you can just....leave if you don't want to fight them
