These are really great reviews so far. You're clear and have just the right tone of voice to review. One thing though. I think you highlighted the negatives of Angel Beats! far more strongly than you praised its positive points. So, around the end of the review, when you said the show is a must-see, it felt as if it were out of the blue. Great review though! Off to watch the rest. :)

Okay here comes my review of Angel Beats (With not so fluent English lmao) So when I first started watching this series I didn’t know anything about it. I found the show from Netflix and just decided to watch it cus the characters looked pretty. First I thought it to be a comedy anime. Then a action anime. And then lastly a sad anime. I just never got any kind of emotional bond to that show. I never thought it as super rough anime even tho when I now think about it angel beats is prob the most rough anime I’ve ever watched. But then in the other hand I also never found it too sad. I didn’t cry at any point of the series and the only time when I actually felt sad was when angel disappeared. After watching almost watching almost every one of those sad animes (Your lie in april, anohana, angel beats etc) this one made me least emotional. And yet I still can’t explain why. The characters were very lovely (Yuri is one of my favourite anime girls in this whole universe). The plot was really good with a lot of action but also humour and emotions. And don’t even get me started with the animation. It just didn’t click on me for sum reason. I just watched it without really thinking and when the series ended I started a new one. I’ll probably watch the show again at some point because of Yuri and the animation and then maybe update this review. But okay to end this long analysis I’ll just say that it’s a very good anime and I would totally recommend everyone to watch it💜 And yeah ones more I would like to apologise if my English wasn’t too good I’m not fluent in it :)

Rose, this is a pretty great review and I know I’m late to the scene seeing as the anime aired ten years ago and you haven’t posted a video in over five years, but it would be great to see you do a more in depth review for this after some time for reflection. For me, the Japanese singing in the English dub is not distracting at all, it’s a sneaky way of having the best emotional performance (usually though there are fantastic English song dubs as well) on the show especially if translated on screen and may encourage dub fans to experiment with watching a few sub only shows. And I think the subtle romance and humor (especially the deadpan of Angel) is there early on if you keep a sharp eye out for it. Hopefully you revive this channel, or maybe moved on to a bigger one.?

Most ppl dont realize this was supposed to be 23 episode series. But a hurricane was forced to cut budget and anime in half. Thats why it felt cut off and rushed at the end. More was supposed to be explained and shown.

You know I think to send me so many times over the years I’ve probably watched it like 12 times. I know it’s stupid but this was one of my favorite anime’s, and I wish there was more of it. But over the years I still cry not because the show ended But the story that it tells, the beautiful colors, the good music and even when Japanese songs it still sounded good and not lazy. I Know most people won’t read this because of how old this is and But I’ve always had this anime close to my heart heart. It was only one other anime that was sad that was sort of like this but at the same time not not fighting not after life but you basically have to retell the story because of the child and the wife dying. So the fathers wishes for a redo and pink lights come Out of the ground and he remembered what happens to his wife but he wanted to make sure it didn’t happen to the kid again at least

Hey Worthy Rival is the only song I took from the ost because it was the best. As for me AB was to short - not all backstories were shown and it jumped to much around - the first episodes were really serious and then it jumped to some school pranks....

another language, you lose some of the impact of the original piece. So keeping it in Japanese would have kept the impact while the lyrics is English might have been less so.

Japanese songs in anime are commonly not dubbed as the translated lyrics sound very bad and often don't make any sense. If you change the lyrics too much then there's no real point so songs are kept in Japanese for these and other reasons, it's not due to laziness.

A minus? Was the goal to grade the anime or go over its plot

I stopped watching this show after 3 episodes... around the time it didn't know what to do with itself and started taking itself too seriously... talk about a try-hard. It failed to having heart and neglected its strength in funny death scenes.
@lollol-vy7rn10 жыл бұрын
I know it is your opinion, and this anime is pretty good, but giving this anime an A- and elfen lied just a D+? Come on elfen lied is a little better than than angel beats. only the Opening you have two A+ in elfen lied and also in angel lieds... Don't understand me wrong you make great reviews and you have a great argumentationline so that it seems you really watched the animes and that you really thought about them... Would be funny if you would do a review of the TARDS, just to see how you destroy them xD
@NoScOpcLN12 жыл бұрын
Your reviews are good been watching the ones of the shows I personally like but there's one problem ...... I can tell that you like some series but you make yourself to negative in your tone in voice, and number scores like # out of 10 is better for reviews
@Evan-oj9xq10 жыл бұрын
Why are all your reviews praising shit animes with little plot and bashing animes with intricute and thought out plots?
