What’s your favourite way to add a little hygge to the holiday season? Let me know if you’ll be making this cozy craft! Everyone needs a little hygge and, as I explain in the video, we hygge all year round here in Denmark! In today's video I've got alternatives for this simple craft so you can use it for summer and winter, woo hoo! 👋🏼😁🕯

I add hygge by burning more candles than normal, cozy blankets, I also added a candle to my kitchen window sill for when I am working in there. I have a candle in each room.

Years ago you got me hooked on using the Christmas advent candles… it’s not Christmas without it and the Swedish Christmas lights (I don’t know the name of the style) that we keep in the kitchen window - feels like Christmas the minute I turn those on ❤

Hi Diane, I am a Swedish American who lives in Alaska where it is very dark in the winter and where I have many IKEA candle nubs! I am so excited to try and make a candle jar like this, thank you! I love your videos.

I light a candle almost every day when the days are short. It gives our home hygge, as are the scent of Dutch stoofperen and homemade pepernoten. I will also send you some light for this season ❤.

You add so much joy to life! I made one of the jar candle holders a couple of years ago after admiring yours for years. I found the jar at Dollar Tree- I’m in the US. A clear top from a spray bottle was placed upside down on the lid to hold the candles. I found candles on Amazon that fit perfectly in the jar- all 24 of them. I already had clear address labels so I printed 1-24 and put a label on each candle. All done for a few dollars! I love your idea of using it for different seasons ❄️ 🌼 ☀️ 🌰!

I ended up making one! :) Or at least something similar to create more hygge 😊 I was in the shop and contemplating buying some stuff for it and then thought: no, lets do it true Diane in Denmark style and jse what I have :) I brought out a flower vase and put a whole bunch of tealights in it (24 left a bit too much empty space haha) plus a box of matches. I put some red ribbon around it and will be adding a christmas touch to it once I get out the christmas decoration. Also I put out a candleholder to burn the candles in. Very happy with it and looking forward to using it every day!

Hi Diane, what a lovely video! Cosy and doable craft. Thanks for all of the encouragement; I have bought my Christmas cards (I love doing them now that I have decluttered my list) and know to do them early. The few overseas cards are written and sent.
